1920s Refurbishment & Extension

As seen in House & Home Magazine (July/Aug 2016)

Constructed originally in the 1920’s, the dwelling required a committed intervention to create a ‘forever home’ for a young family. A sympathetic and considered renovation of the original house is enhanced by a contemporary extension located to exploit the parameters to the rear of the site whilst visually reading as acquiescent to the original house from approach. A proportionately solid façade addresses the rail line to the north with views of the gardens and terraces and natural light penetration being promoted through the introduced fenestration and roof design.
