To go with the grey theme, you could have grey and white cupboards as shown here. A mixture of the two breaks it up a bit, and on the kitchen island the wooden bar gives a nice effect and makes the kitchen seem more country fied!!

I think the colours - although think would either have black instead of grey or go lighter for grey
