Review for Martin Shinnors Architect MRIAI

Martin Shinnors Architect prepared a design for the upgrade of our 1990s domestic dwelling house. In preparation for the design work and to ensure an informed design Martin Shinnors Architects first carried out a detailed house survey after which we were provided with a report summarising recommended remedial works to make good existing defects, to improve energy efficiency and better compliance with the Building Regulations. The recommendations from this report were taken into consideration throughout the design development process.
During the design development Martin always listened to us and understood our requirements. At the same time his experience was evident as he guided us on every decision, highlighted various factors we should consider and always advised on best practice. Martin called to our house to meet us on numerous occasions to discuss the design, present different design options and ensure the final design met our needs. Martin also facilitated last minute changes. Martin Shinnors Architect design for our house greatly improves connectivity between key spaces, filtering of light throughout the house, functionality, maintains the character and aesthetic while also improving energy efficiency.
We were successful with our planning permission and are shortly about to commence on site. Martin Shinnors Architect have been retained to provide staged inspections and reviews of site works.
