We kept the footprint for the double vanity and the toilet, and kept the bathtub generally in the same spot, replacing everything. Soft cream coloured tile in a large format was used on the walls, and a textured cream coloured subway tile was used in the shower and around the tub deck.

The tub is a drop-in model, so we built this deck around it, which continued into the shower to act as a bench. The blinds are top-down cellular shades from Hunter Douglas, so they can be lowered from the top while maintaining privacy in the bathroom.

we kept a couple of spots open as shelves on the vanity to roll up towels, so it would feel less heavy in the space. Simple block legs give the vanity a furniture appeal.

We kept everything in the shower very square and angular, from the rain showerhead to the door handle on the glass, even the door hinges and shampoo niche.

The large expanse of mirror visually opens up the bathroom even more, and we installed the vanity lights directly onto the mirror.
