Responding to the client's need for more entertainment space, this outdoor living room straddles an old swimming pool that now serves as a rainwater reservoir. Designed in a similar way to an internal room, this tranquil space features a retractable roof to let sunshine penetrate adjacent rooms and to maximise airflow and shade for summer comfort. All interior elements are water resistant and designed to accommodate weather penetration.
