In this kitchen, we used a dark walnut cabinetry finish combined with a classic bright white beveled tile, and polished Carrara marble counters. While the cabinetry has a rich wood tone, the room still feels light and open. It’s a striking combination and an unexpected twist on the classic white kitchen. The layout of the space was designed keeping function and beauty in mind: the kitchen needed to work well for cooking family dinners while maintaining an aesthetic that complemented the classic Chevy Chase home.
