This Condo was purchased many years ago by a family living abroad while their son was attending Stanford University. Over the years, the family has grown and they continue to enjoy frequent visits to the Bay Area. It was important to them to be able stay in the comfort and accessibility of their own place; however, the place was outdated and lacked cohesiveness and functionality.
This Condo project was a complete remodel with updated kitchen, baths, lighting, window and floor treatments, new furnishings and accessories. Since the clients live abroad, communication was done remotely to keep the client involved in decisions and updated on progress. Selections incorporated the aesthetics and needs of many family members- both young and old.
RKI handled the design, the ordering, installation and handling of all logistics and final installations. Cabinets were stocked with all household supplies, such as: cookware, china, linens, toiletries and housekeeping items.
The final design has the finesse of a fine hotel, but the comfort of a personal home.
Our client simply has to “turn the key” and enjoy their stay.
