In this remarkable 14,000 square foot landscape transformation, we crafted a truly custom outdoor sanctuary that redefines open-air entertainment.
The project began with a strategic pool relocation to maximize the leisure zone while maintaining property line regulations. This move set the stage for a series of bespoke features, starting with a custom-built kitchen and cozy seating area just steps from the backdoor. These spaces are designed for ultimate comfort, complete with a drop-down screen for protection from insects and midday sun.
At the heart of the backyard, a stunning 18'x36' pool takes center stage, framed by an 18-inch masonry wall adorned with LED lighting for an elegant nighttime ambiance. Surrounding the pool, hydrangeas and European hornbeams add a touch of timeless sophistication. Pool deck with Valders Dove White in a herringbone pattern, ensures both beauty and longevity.
We also repurposed a large drywell behind the pool to create a custom putting green, surrounded by permeable gravel and stone coping that addresses stormwater retention. Landscape lighting throughout the property enhances the space, creating a magical atmosphere day or night.
For added luxury, we incorporated an impressive outdoor fireplace and wall, equipped with an outdoor TV and state-of-the-art speaker system, making it the perfect spot for family gatherings. A pergola, expertly crafted from steel I-beams and cedar, offers both shade and architectural style.
The hydrangea hedge, extending along the entire property, ensures visual continuity, while the front yard features a heated concrete driveway, a bluestone porch and walkway, and garden walls with water scuppers and a pondless waterfall. Thoughtfully designed, seasonally adaptive planting beds and containers, along with formal columnar trees and crushed blue granite gravel, complete this polished, low-maintenance landscape.
