Chefs Kitchen

The homeowner is a part time Chef and outgrew the tiny, outdated kitchen from the 80s. We opened up the wall between the kitchen and dining room, removed an awkward drop ceiling, replaced the exterior sliding door with a La Cantina Bi-Fold window, installed a new centered sink window, installed a new fixed window, and added a new Milgard exterior swing door. The new configuration allowed for more working area as well as much needed additional kitchen storage.

The La Cantina Bi-Fold window with exterior bar top, allows easy access to the outdoor covered kitchen. An integrated checkered Walnut w/Sapwood and Sapele Mahogany custom butcher block is not only an attractive detail, but a necessity for this Chef.

Reclaimed wood lines the entry to the dining room. Under cabinet lighting and angled power strips from Task Lighting keeps the working space bright and the backsplash clean. Top of the line Thermador appliances makes this kitchen a Chef's delight.
