Visually, I like this arrangement better as well, although I realize it's harder to put your feet up.

Erica, I think your plan for two and two is a good idea. I don’t like 4 matching chairs either. We picked 2 of the same wood chairs with different cushions, and two white chairs in curved but complementary shapes. Also, the center is asymmetrical with the two different wood tables, and the side tables for the chairs are also different. I think it’s a little more fun than a matching set
