As you can see I gave away all the plants. I moved everything underneath the work table area to put the two litter boxes there. This took all day and I also had my helper working on it for four hours this morning. What you don’t see is the amount of work it took to relocate everything that was moved OUT of the room. And relocate it so that I’m not going to have a ton of work to do later. That involved entirely cleaning out a closet in the hall, sorting through stuff to give away and making room to store some of the art supplies that were in here. Whew. This studio room /cat space still needs more work in terms of organizing my art supplies, but it’s much more manageable now. You can see the gate leaning up against the door… I will put that across the door when the cats move in, to keep them confined to this room until they feel confident enough to start exploring. Then I will let them explore the upstairs first. The two litter boxes will go on the plastic tablecloth underneath the work table. I hope they fit. If they don’t they will go on the floor in front.
Lots of birth analogies here from runestones. Basement flooded…what a soggy Labour Day weekend. This little girl is ME at an early age, learning cat 💕 at the family (mothers side) farm which sadly no longer exists, although the land is now a developed recreational land trust in Norway Maine.
Lia, you must be tired of us all 'back seat driving' your new roomies so I'm going to ask about YS. How's he doing and is there a Dr. appt. coming up soon?
