IMO in a LR that size 2 seating areas mke sense so one for TV and the other arranged for a cosy seating space for the FP

I would paint the door the same color as the wood panels. Then all the green-gray wood would be edged in white trim.

Are those glass on the side that look black? Not really sure what you are concerned about for style of door to this house . NOt your typical MCM so maybe a bit more info. Those fancy lacey fronts for sure do not work. Something like this would be my choice

Prime first with a high adhesive primer like KILZ® no sanding necessary.

rather than white, how about the same color you have on the walls?

I would just tile the shower to the ceiling, & either paint / paper the rest of the walls.

NOthing needed other than maybe some art it is a small space do not make it smaller even the chair just magnifies the small space .

id ditch all the crown moulding along ceilings and extend cabinets to ceiling by boxing in open space and adding simple, narrow 90degree moulding where cabs meet ceiling. this type of moulding matches the shaker cabinets much better than the large curved moulding which imo is passe.
