Roarah! Wow! You are so talented. I do not switch anything but now I want to after seeing your beautiful slip covers and I think it is fabulous to have the vibe/feeling to change with the seasons. It is something to look forward to and I know I get bored with my space and think it is a great idea to mix things up when it feels right. I could never make a slipcover but I am going to think about things I can swap out to create a change for how I want my space to feel and keeping things fresh and interesting to me by doing just that. Thank you for sharing as it is very inspiring.

Roarah, your house is hardly dated! - it is timeless! The photos show a warm and inviting home, and your personality.
I have never swapped out fabrics, pillow covers or bedding seasonally.

Gahhhh i love everything on this thread - so charming and fun! 😍

That is so cute @amykath. great to ”see” you!

While I responded earlier with a personal history, I want to add some other comments.
Money can buy an interior decorator to do your house or someone to choose your clothes if you don't have personal taste. Money can buy classes in formal manners.
But money can never buy integrity, kindness, or character. You can't fake any of those and you can't pay anyone to teach them to you.

Went down the rabbit hole of Macy Blackwell's TT. Where do they store all of the holiday decor?! I do like this, but we don't have trick or treaters. Actually haven't in our last three houses.
I thought this ghost made from a tomato cage, styrofoam ball and lights was cute. (Macy had +/-50 ghosts inside her house.) Add pool noodles to make arms/life out fabric. I could do without all the black decor in the OP's linked article.
ETA: I don't have a TT account, just followed from article. But she has an IG as well. It's too much for me, but she does have cut Halloween Barbie collection. LOL
