Review for Mike Reed Tile

I hired Mike to tile a fireplace surround – the whole wall from ceiling to floor. He had come highly recommended from the large store in Canoga Park where I bought my tiles. I got two other bids on the job, even though I was already set on hiring him (because of the recommendation). The beautiful thing is that he turned out to be $100-200 cheaper than the others – a win-win situation. Mike was a professional throughout. Before the job started, he agreed to go to the tile store to measure the tiles, so that I had the correct measurement of the width of the wall to give to my contractor. Before we began, he helped me figure out which color grout would look best. He is quiet-spoken and pleasant. On the job, he had one assistant who has been working with him for years, and the job was finished in under two days. The fireplace surround is the centerpiece of my living-room, and is absolutely gorgeous! I couldn't be more pleased. I give Mike and his company the highest recommendation.
