David Goetsch was recommended by a well-known interior designer I know. I recently completed a total home renovation for which he was the architect and we recommend David without reservations. David listened to my husband and me and carefully evaluated our house to ensure we could do with it what we wanted. His careful work pre-design translated into major mistakes avoided and in some areas, major costs saved. David's design was perfect, just what we wanted, though as we got underway with work we decided to make tweaks to the plan. David was a partner throughout the bidding process, going through bids with us and educating us on how to evaluate the general contractors. He was also present during the building process and came often to check on the progress of the project. Our contractor, who had not worked with David previously, sang David's praises as well, saying the plans were so well-detailed that it made the contractor's job a lot easier. Several sub-contractors commented on the design of the master bathroom saying it was a brilliant use of space. We finished the 10 month project on time and on budget, and when I discussed this with the contractor, he indicated that a large part of that was the good architectural plans, which specified the right kinds of materials to use and gave realistic budgets for the materials. We conducted a small renovation on our old house many years ago. This one was many times larger and more costly, but David's great plans made it infinitely easier. The project is complete now and we are living in our newly renovated home and love every inch of it. I am happy to recommend David Goetsch!
