Review for Code Plus Construction Inc
The owner started out strong and had good advice for the design of my spaces. He knew his business. I was very impressed with several small projects that he designed and completed himself.
The problems came with his employees. They were very respectful of my space, but their work was nothing like their boss. I felt like they were apprentices who had not done enough tile work, caulking, flooring, etc to be called professionals.
The plumber left me with a horrible water hammer up in my shower. He made several attempts to stabilize the pipes, but did not solve the problem. His only attempt to placate me was to say it would take a lot of work to get at the pipes since the project was completed. He never did come back.
Also as the project was coming to completion, I saw them less and less. He never did give me a time estimate, and it's my fault I did not discuss this with him before the project was started. I was naïve, and feel like that was played upon. I had been widowed the year before and didn't consult on other people or resources for this project. That again, was my own fault. If I had been more forward, I would have called him back to re-do several things. As it was, the project took nearly two months.
If I look beyond the few things that I feel did not turn out well, I have to say that my bathrooms and bedroom look beautiful at first glance and others probably wouldn't notice most of the flaws, but I will never hire them again.
