Review for Cabinets.com

When the island of Virgin Gorda, in the British Virgin Islands, was hit by two Category 5 Hurricanes in September 2017, my 5-star, luxury rental villa business was destroyed. 95% of the structures on this island were as badly damaged as mine - or worse. In January 2018 I ordered sample doors from Cabinets.com in their Deerfield line - Shaker II Maple Bright White and Shaker II Maple Naval Blue. My husband and I had a lot of experience through the years with building houses and kitchens, and we could tell these doors were well made. We decided to go with Cabinets.com in both colors for our replacement cabinets, but first we needed to purchase our appliances online. We needed those specifications for the cabinet dimensions. After that was accomplished, we re-designed our kitchen using only the vague measurements people down in Virgin Gorda could send us. The house and kitchen were still chaos! (Because our insurance had not settled and did not until May, all debris had to be left in place.) We were back here in Massachusetts trying to replace everything we needed for the villa. We decided to change the placement of the kitchen island so the cooktop would not be destroyed again by the ceiling fan dropping on to it if we had another catastrophe like the one we just had... Finally, I was assigned to Suzanne as my Cabinets.com designer. I think she did a fantastic job for us! Even though we sent her our design, she had to come up with a finalized plan using our "rough" measurements. We were not sure of the window sill heights or even the width of the kitchen windows, but this was the best we could do considering the situation. She came up with changes that made sense for us and solved problems we did not anticipate. She was very patient with us since we were still in "shock." The cabinets were completed ahead of schedule. We had them shipped (for free) to a freight consolidator in Fort Lauderdale, and there they were put in "my" 40 foot container and sent on a ship to St. Thomas, U.S.V. I. From there, they went on a smaller barge to Virgin Gorda, in the British Virgin Islands. Finally, in April, 48 cartons from Cabinets.com were carried on to the porch of my villa! The cabinets were installed in a Great Room with nothing but concrete walls and electric outlets. EVERY single cabinet and cabinet part arrived in PERFECT condition and fit the space! Not one item was missing from the order. If I could rate this company with 10 stars, I would. Their attention to detail for my order was impeccable. If I'd received one or more broken cabinets, I would be without a working kitchen and unable to rent my villa now. My 8 appliances slipped right into place. It was a leap of faith to order on line, but they did a magnificent job for me and my company. Bravo, Cabinets.com! Now my 5 employees can start earning a living again because you came through for me, and I can rent my villa and bring tourists back to beautiful Virgin Gorda.
