Fairco windows and doors

Door is 3 years old. Silver knocker and letterbox are rusting...not weatherproof or durable. Rang customer care.. didn't want to know..seemed well used to this issue.. said I could pay to get it replaced. Really disappointing as it was really expensive door and Fairco seem reputable

To be avoided. I wish I had done the research before paying Fairco for windows and a front door. The biggest issue we've had is the colour of the front door doesn't match the frame. The door is black and the frame is more like a navy. We consulted with other people in the business and they all agreed they were different colours. We were never told that the door and frame were different materials so its difficult to get a match when spraying the same RAL colour. If we were informed we could have chosen a different door. The customer service is non existent and we were basically told that we were colour blind. There was no offer to rectify the problem, once they get their money they don't care. We had problems with the windows too. The work wasn't checked on completion and they had to come back 3 times to fix seals that were letting in air. They were sloppy in their work, the black PVC seals on the exterior are so messy looking. I have never come across such an unprofessional Supplier and want to warn other people not to use them.

Wow, I am blown away by the exceptional quality of the windows and the front door. The job has been carried out much quicker than I thought it would be. The Fairco team said that they would arrive at 8:00 am the next morning and indeed, they arrived at 7:58 am very reliably. They were punctual on the following day too. The crew was very professional, super friendly - and they even cleaned up very well after themselves. Best of all, two hours after the window installation was completed, my 6 y/o said: "Mommy, why is the house so warm?" I'm going to apply for an increased BER rating for the house. I would never reccomend Fairco. Terrible quality and door won’t lock properly. They refuse to repair or replace. Their customer service is disgraceful!! Do not use!!!!

Would not recommend. Parts were missing on the first day of installation. It took three additional visits. Then the wrong colour part was fitted. It’s been three months now and the door is still not finished and the level of service has dropped once your money is paid. Calls ignored. Saying they had no knowledge of the defect, even though their fitter alerted them. Getting new windows next year, and I definitely won’t use them. Very disappointed!

Front and back doors fitted March 2017 not a bother with front door . The back has been very problematic it's exactly two years in and they have been to repair on four occasions , they did not charge for the first three as I think it was under gaurentee but we paid €80 about seven months ago and the engineer was sure that door was sorted . The door cannot be locked as it was never fitted properly in the first place and it has now gone again for the fifth time in two years as of April 2019. Think long and hard before getting work done as their after sales service could be improved its looking like we will have to get them out agin with no gaurentee that problem will be resolved .

I got my front Porch replaced with Fairco in September 18. After the first rain there was water inside the porch ,also the Door Handels were not inline. There service man arrived two weeks after my call, he said he fixed the leak but couldn’t align the Door handles.After the next rain water was present inside the porch again. I contacted them again and had to wait some more weeks for service. On this occasion the man did re align the handles but the leak still exists. Six months later we are still waiting to get the problem solved. I would not recommend this company to anybody.Extremly disappointed with this company

i had front windows, six window boards and a front door fitted by fairco in 2014. they guarantee their fitting for one year. recently, i discovered that the ends of the window boards should have been finished off with some sort of pvc capping. my friend used them, and this is what was done in his house. i rang fairco today (22/01/2018) and explained this to them. i told them that i was blind, and that i did not realise that this should have been done. i only realised it when i felt my friends window boards. i told them that i felt that the fitting was incomplete even though i did sign the documents saying that everything was ok. in fairness, as a blind person, you dont go around feeling every corner of everything after someone has provided a service. i asked them to show a little flexibility in this case. they refused saying that they wanted 85 euros to come out and repair this fault. i again explained to them that i was blind, and that i felt the fitting was not complete. they still refused. even in the first year, their engineer was out three times to stop windows from squeeking, and in one case to stop the big front window from moving. even he did not say anything to me about the window boards, and he should have seen this. in fairness however, i did sign the documents, and after the three visits from the engineer everything is mostly ok. however, if you are disabled and cannot verify the fitting, dont use them. they dont care, and will not use their discression when it is warrented. they are only too happy to pull the woll over your eyes!!! i made the point to their customer service that as a blind person, i dont go around feeling every lock hinge and joint after a job. you expect a certain level of professionalism. i was lead to believe, that the boards were supposed to be left rough until i saw the job they did in my friend's house. i only saw this at christmas. in short, beware!!!

Excellent workmanship would highly recommend this company very professional very clean. They are a excellent company to do business with.

Use two fingers to move the map FAIRCO Windows & Doors Terenure Road North Terenure Rd N, Terenure, Dublin 6W, Co. Dublin, D6W HW65, Ireland Window Supplier Carmel Kennedy 0 points in the last week I got the whole house fitted with black french windows and doors in July 2012 at the cost of €14.726. The whole house had to be redone, using the existing glass in December 2016 as there was defects in the first ones. It took Fairco Windows And Doors exactly 9 months and 4 days to complete the new replacement. I first brought it to their attention on 22nd April 2016 and work was completed on 26th January 2017. So much for them advertising a rapid repair service. Since the new replacement on 19th December 2016, I emailed them on 21st December 2016 to let them know there was problems with the locks on the front french doors. There next service call wasn't available till 4th January 2017. This resulted in us been unable to go out as a family over the Christmas and New Year as someone had to be in the house at all times, in fear of been locked out completely. On the 4th January 2017 the doors and some windows were adjusted. I requested the locks to be changed. We were left waiting till 26th January 2017 for this to happen. I got a call from Fairco in March 2017 asking would I be interested in getting the gutters done as they were doing deals, I said no but asked for a service call for adjustments and the locks were not working all keys properly. The service call was booked for Monday 3rd April. The guy called adjusted the windows and I told him about the lock. He seen for himself and said the locks are not 100% and he would report it first thing the following morning. I emailed them the following morning to let them know that both locks on the front french doors are not working properly as I had to refuse a delivery because of this. Since I've been left waiting with locks that are not fit for purpose as I write this review. I've been onto Dublins Q102 to highlight it. I have named and shamed Fairco Windows And Doors on facebook and because of this no one from Fairco will visit my home. I'm been accused of defaming his company with the truth I wrote about them and starting a hate campaign, I don't tell lies. My file was sent onto his legal department in April 2017 still waiting to hear from them. I've also been informed by email if I don't take all down off facebook he is starting court proceedings and that people have come forward to be witness for him. I told him he can have all the witnesses as I have all the proof. I'm still waiting to hear from the court proceedings. According to him my actions are illegal. I don't think so, if anything its him who is breaking the law, he supplied the faulty locks. Also a piece on one of the window frames is loose. So to date I am left with locks that are not fit for purpose, its now a fire and safety issue to my family and our home. The stress and strain of dealing with Fairco Windows And Doors is unrepairable. From my experience I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. SHAME ON FAIRCO WINDOWS AND DOORS

I couldn't recommend this company more. They fit a door for me. The workmen were punctual, polite and clean. Job done, no problems.
