I was absolutely shocked at how little damage to drywall had to occur for them to have access to redo it all plus we had them add features. I wouldn't look to any other plumbing company again. The old galvanized pipe sprung a leak above our kitchen, we hired another company to patch it, they came out, fixed the wrong pipe, and the next thing you know we had to replace our whole kitchen because of the extent of the damage 2 days later. Aurora plumbing came in quickly, gave us a totally competitive bid, told us options for parts we could do ourself to save money, and re-plumbed our home from the meter on with copper. Shut off valves are now easily accessible, we have great new features, and not one call back was required. Their man was extremely courteous, clean, fast, and professional. Unlike the other outfit, his joints looks like artwork.”

“I recently purchased a HUD owned home and had to jump through their nearly impossible hoops. They refused to allow the water to be turned on for inspection for failure to hold pressure. In order get the loan I had to hire a plumber to try and find what was wrong (which is nearly impossible without the water on) as my lender was willing to go forward with the loan as long as I put the necessary funds into escrow to cover the repairs needed. (Hud does not allow or make any repairs under any circumstances). I called several places and Matt from Drain Away was the only person I talked to that understood what I needed and was able to come out the following day. He was very thorough in searching for the problem. He gave me an estimate and said that Drain Away would be willing to work with me with this escrow hold back for repairs in order to close on the house. Thanks to Drain Away working with me on this I was able to close (4 buyers before myself failed due to the same problem). As soon as the house closed I called Matt and he came out and made the repairs the following day which actually ended up being less than the original estimate. We homeowners love that! It turned out that there were 3 burst pipes and faulty valves. He finished the work in a day and a half ( he started late in the day the 1st day due to other pre scheduled work orders and came back and finished the following day) He was very thorough, patient, efficient, on time and HONEST. The owner Cory Zimmer was very quick to get the necessary invoices I needed to the lender and was quick to respond to my requests. Mr Zimmer was very patient in waiting for escrow to release the funds after the work was completed...which took longer than expected. If wasnt for their cooperation and willingness to work with my lender and me I wouldn't be living in my current home and I can never thank them enough for that!”

“I thought it would be useful to follow up on work that C Les Plumbing did for us a few years ago. They did a complete re-pipe of our 1950's home including running a new higher capacity supply line from the street. They also installed an earthquake shutoff valve at the gas meter and ran a gas line to the kitchen. Their prices were competitive and they were able to finish the whole project before our-move-in date. “I think it’s important to be able to trust your plumber as much as your doctor, lawyer and accountant. Strictly Sewer was recommended to me by the company that scoped the line of an 8-unit Seattle apartment building in a pre-purchase inspection. Roots were encountered that prevented a camera from viewing the line beyond a certain point. In discussing the work in advance, Strictly Sewer’s owner, Rich Bentz recommended a two-step process: remove the roots to repair the line and then with a clear view, decide if the sewer should be lined. Sewer lining is of course complicated when it is an apartment building instead of a private residence because tenants cannot use water during a five-hour period. I was thankful that in analyzing the situation fully, Rich decided it would be unnecessary to go in through a clean out location that would have required emptying a storage room and purchasing temporary storage for one tenant’s belongings. Once step 1 was completed, it was determined that the line was in good condition so a liner would be unnecessary. Instead, I will be removing large nearby trees and postponing the need to line. When it becomes time to line, it will definitely be Strictly Sewer I contact to do the work.”
