About Us

Based in the North East of Scotland with projects from London to Gairloch, Fiddes Architects offer a wide range of Architectural services and will consider any prospective project. We pride ourselves on delivering innovative design solutions through good client consultation, attention to detail, a combination of modern design with modern materials whilst maintaining respect for the vernacular. We provide quality drawings including 3D visualisation at an early stage, which we believe is essential for Client / Architect understanding and discussion. Eoghain Fiddes is Registered as an Architect under the Architects Act 1997 & an Associate Member of the Royal Institute of Architects in Scotland RIAS

Fiddes Architects have been fantastic. From understanding the brief right at the beginning to managing the whole process and delivering on time and to budget I could not fault them. Communication was also excellent. Always had time to discuss issues and make recommendations without pushing or persuading. I felt it was my project but with all the support I needed when I needed it. The team work well together and it is clear that there is trust between architect and builder. I would thoroughly recommend them. My house is modern, efficient and thoroughly beautiful. I love it.

Eoghain and his team came highly recommended and looking at the finished project we are more than happy to add our names to the growing list of positive recommendations. They listened closely to our requirements, came back with an excellent range of possibilities and finishings, several of which we hadn't previously considered and stayed on top of the build process throughout which was particularly challenging due to the ongoing Covid restrictions. The end result was stunning and somehow still manages to blend into the surroundings. Their attention to detail was excellent and they seemed to enjoy the build process and take pride in the end result as much as us! Iain Adams

We instructed Fiddes Architects back in 2014 for a one storey extension to create a large family kitchen area. Could not have been happier with the job. They really listened to what we were looking for and suggested ideas we wouldn't have thought about. Great project management throughout from Eoghain, all trades coordinated seamlessly and building warrants all completed without hassle to ourselves. Great communication throughout and excellent contractors used. In a nutshell we would never use anyone else for any future works other than Fiddes Architects. Superb from start to finish.

Fiddes Architects were fantastic to work with and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to all. They listened to what we wanted and came up with a design that was very much in keeping with the neighbourhood . Their recommendations re contractor and material selection were very good Superb job

We knew within 5 minutes of meeting Eoghain that he was the architect we wanted to design our dream home. Very forward thinking, innovate & current. From consultation to completion we had great support with Eoghain project managing the build for us. To put it simply, with a can do attitude & very professional approach, working with Eoghain & Finlay was an absolute pleasure. We absolutely love our home but if we ever decide to build again ... we will be back. Mrs Maureen Jarvis
