Matt and his team at The HomeWright did an amazing job renovating our guest bathroom. We'd just moved into our home and realized an entire re-model of the bathroom was required. Matt worked with us to create a great plan. Amanda was amazing at helping with material selection and final design elements. Matt's crew followed his schedule almost to the day (there were some unexpected drywall challenges with this remodel that the team had to manage). They finished on time and the result is amazing! The quality of the work was superb. Throughout the process, Matt kept us updated and ensured any decisions we needed to make were presented with options. Matt comes to your house to listen and discuss what you want done, he then gives you a ball park estimate. You can say yes then or take time to decide and call him back. Once you decide he puts together a plan listing everything that will be done and gives you prices then you will sign a contract. He has specific professionals he works with and sets up times for you to meet with them to make choices. You may go over or under budget, he will call/text you before any ordering is done to double check your choices. Before the work begins he gives you a calendar showing everyday and who will be there and what work will be done. Matt comes everyday and introduces anyone that will be in your house, they are professionals and all were very friendly. Everything went perfect no surprises.

The HomeWright, LLC did a phenomenal job on our recent total kitchen remodel. From the first visit through the final inspection, the entire team was outstanding and professional. We recently wrapped up phase 2 of our main floor remodel with The HomeWright. Matt did a great job the first time around and we feel the same about phase 2. Remodel included new trim and interior doors and hardware, complete staircase overhaul, updated flooring and new fireplace and TV focal point. We discovered mold during the project which set us back a few weeks but Matt was flexible with getting all of the subcontractors rescheduled to accommodate.

To say that my husband has high standards is an understatement. He is an architect and type A personality. We both had a very distinct vision for our kitchen remodel and spent 2 years dreaming it up. We also got 6 months into the planning process with another General Contractor only to fire them and start over. Clearly, we were not going to be the easiest clients to satisfy. Matt Wright was up for the challenge though and knocked it out of the park! He was a breath of fresh air after what had been a long and frustrating process with others in the industry. Matt is highly organized, very detail oriented and sharp. He and his team were fabulous to work with. I absolutely LOVE how our kitchen remodel turned out! We highly recommend The Home Wright and will be using Matt for all future projects.

For a non-decorator/designer, Matt made this experience easy. He and his team guided me through designing and choosing the best fixtures. The project was completed on time with minimal disruption to our lives. The team is professional and very nice to work with. I would highly recommend The HomeWright for any projects you have.

I am not one to post reviews on line, but there does come an occasion now and then where a contractor’s work is so exceptionally good that the posting of a review is warranted. That is the case here. A couple of years ago my wife and I decided to remodel two of our bathrooms and the kitchenette area in our finished basement. As I typically do, I started a rather lengthy process to identify a reputably excellent contractor (not an easy task these days!). I eventually identified one, Matt Wright of The HomeWright, LLC in Carmel, Indiana, as that contractor. In contacting Matt, I learned he was so in demand that he could not even discuss our project until January 2023, 9 months later. I recognized his heavily-booked schedule was actually a good sign about the quality of his work, and because we were in the middle of the pandemic, we were not in a hurry, so we asked him to call us when his schedule allowed. True to his word, Matt called us in January, and we just completed the three projects a week ago. We are very, very pleased with the work Matt completed for us. The house is a very nice home and, as previously noted, we were looking to upgrade two of its restrooms and the lower level kitchenette area. The results are simply excellent. Briefly, Matt is a professional and has a great attention to detail. He also holds himself and his subcontractors to a high standard. He has developed, over many years of doing this work, a well thought through, professional process for completing a project. He brings excellent consultants and subcontractors to your project, many, if not most, of whom he has worked with for many years. You are never surprised about anything in the project. Rather, Matt works hard to make sure you are well-informed and satisfied at each step. His contractors arrive on-time and work hard. It is clear from talking with his subcontractors that they hold Matt in high esteem and appreciate their long relationship with him. During the process and following, the two or three minor concerns I identified were each corrected and resolved to my full satisfaction, each within 24 hours of notification. Suffice it to say, the entire process, from beginning to end, and from demo to final product, was just great. As evidence of that, we are now in the process of starting another remodeling project with Matt, the Master Bath. Matt is not the cheapest remodeler on the block, but I learned long ago, you get what you pay for. And with Matt, you get a smooth process, good people, expertise, and a wonderful result. Indeed, his prices are very reasonable considering the quality of work he produces, the excellence of his consultants and subcontractors, his responsiveness to your concerns, his attention to detail, and his professionalism. We look forward to our future opportunities to work with him. We give him 5 stars and plus! PLH

We just finished a complete remodel of our primary suite (bed and bathroom) and all I can say is Wow! The Home Wright team managed the project with the utmost professionalism. From the very start when Matt Wright came to quote our project we knew we wanted to work with him. He was very upfront about the project costs and timeline. His experience and skill in all things renovation related was so helpful in pulling the plans together. He provided a detailed project plan and hit every milestone. Amanda is a gifted designer who really helped us bring our vision to fruition. The electrician, the plumbers, the tilers, etc. were all talented, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I can honestly say this was the best managed home renovation I have ever experienced, and I have done a lot of renovations! So, if you are considering a major renovation and are looking for an honest, dedicated and professional contractor, I highly recommend The Home Wright! We could not be happier with the experience and the results.

Matt gave us a calendar of what was happening every day and he followed it, so we knew what was happening. Matt also came everyday and introduce all the workers to us. Everyone was a true professional craftsman.

1. Follow through very good-originally contacted in early 2020, Matt said he had a wait list to put me on, and would call at end of year. He did and our project was in motion. 2. Communication excellent-Matt provided a construction schedule and would communicate times and any changes regularly. He was always available to answer our questions within the same day, often within the hour of our reaching out. 3. Hands on general contractor-Matt was at our home nearly every day that sub-contractors were working on our project. We felt that he was truly managing the project and we did not have to be overly involved. 3. Resolution of issues was excellent-with a renovation there are always surprise problems, and ours was no different. The difference was how Matt handled them. He immediately took ownership of any issue, and implemented solutions. An example was an error made by a plumbing sub-contractor. Once the error was discovered, he evaluated all options to resolve and ultimately recommended a more expensive option because it would provide us with the best product. This was resolved at his cost. For us, working with a contractor who owns an error, and takes care of the problem with the right solution is one of the primary reasons we would recommend Matt to others. So many contractors sell customers a vision, but when something inevitably goes wrong, they do not follow through on delivering a quality product at the agreed upon price.

This is our second project with Matt in two years. Great scheduling, informative, respectful of your space, and amazing work. We couldn’t be happier with the master bath remodel!
