My wife and I had a basic idea of what we wanted to accomplish, but didn't truly know how to express our vision. After sitting down with us and walking through the possibilities , Stephen was able to put together a plan that far exceeded our expectations. He not only designed the plan, he went over the building process, budgeting, and timeframe expectations. All together, Stephen stayed on schedule, kept us informed on the progress, and remained professional. We would highly recommend considering Green Republic Design Group and have already referred friends.

Stephen was great to work with. We hired him to design a blueprint for our back yard. He put together some really nice looking, very detailed plans. We wanted to reconfigure our deck, put in a small garden, and provide a relatively flat area for our children to play (we live on a hillside). We also have some drainage issues causing problems with our garage that we asked Stephen to address. Stephen came back with super detailed plans for everything we asked, and then some. The plans for the reconfigured deck included a built in gas grill and storage cabinets. He designed a terraced garden space. Most importantly, the flat space we wanted for the kids was there, and it helped provide the drainage solution we wanted. Stephen designed a seat wall, cut into the hill, with a drain pipe behind it, all integrated into the play area. I thought it was a very elegant solution to our problem. Not only did he address everything we wanted, he came up with a neat idea for adding a pergola, seating area, and light features next to my home brewery, which occupies a 12x20 building in our backyard. In other words, Stephen also designed us a beer garden! Unfortunately we have not been able to start implementing his plans yet, so I can't speak to how good everything looks in reality. The quality and detail of his design is excellent though, and he was very easy to work with. I'd definitely recommend hiring him.

I found Stephen on Houzz by searching for professionals in my area. It was great to be able to look at pictures of his work beforehand to confirm that our styles aligned. I did love Stephen's style so I contacted him and he responded quickly. Soon after, Stephen visited our home and designed a landscape plan that impressed us and included all of our requests and then some. Stephen was very professional, affordable, and stayed within a timeline that was completed sooner than we expected. Unfortunately I can't show pictures as it was a plan we will slowly complete because it is for our home on a wooded 20 acres. I am very glad I chose Stephen from the Green Republic Group and would not only recommend this company but would hire him again.

RDG was hired as a full service pool, landscape and lighting design firm on behalf of one of my projects. As a custom home builder, I hold my architects to the highest of standards. RDG did not disappoint. Stephen Gilbert and his crew delivered a knock out design for my project and paid upmost attention to the smallest of details.
