About Us

Chris Merenda-Axtell is an interior designer who has worked in California, Nevada, Colorado and Hawaii for more than 29 years. After earning a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Interior Design from Sacramento State University, Chris began her career merchandising model homes in both California and Nevada for Building Developers. Owned and operated the home accessory store, The Farmers Daughter, in Lyon Village. Chris takes pride in finding a balance between the clients style and the integrity of the house. She enjoys creating renovated or newly constructed spaces. Award winning Best of Houzz 2014, 2015, 2016 ,2017,2018, 2019 and 2021
