I own a model Home in Sparrows Bend that My wife Gerlie and I are very happy with. My only grumble with D Logan is that he hires Illegat Mexicans who do substandard work and then pays for it in the end hiring his warranty team to wipe ass. Why not just award the bid to Good local NC American tradesmen who will do it right the first go round?

Logan Homes have HVAC issues because they put in the cheapest possible equipment. I have heard this from multiple Logan homeowners, and now we have found that after owning our home for one year (just past the Logan warranty period), our Carrier compressor needs to be replaced. It is one year old!!! The parts will be covered but we will have to pay $1000 for labor. During the building process, Logan refused to replace a bathtub that had a hole in it. They insisted on repairing it instead. They also did not finish out the shower area in the FROG bathroom with a shower door/glass partition, even though it is not possible to shower without getting water all over the entire bathroom without a shower door/glass partition. We also had no choice on finishes such as lighting, flooring, countertops, paint colors, tiles...NO CHOICES even though nothing was installed and it was a few months prior to completion. Take it or leave it. They refused to provide landscaping plans despite repeated requests. And again...no choices or changes months prior to closing. The air return in the bedroom is in a place that is extremely difficult to access in order to change the filter. Drywall issues are prevalent throughout the house. The bathroom (separate toilet area) is so small, you can barely turn around. Customer service/warranty personnel constantly change and don't show up for appointments.

Logan promises they will fix issues during the 1 year warranty period but they never do. Many have hvac repairs within the first year, drainage issues and cracked cement. My home is two years old and I have a roof leak. Instead of repairing the cement they did a patchwork. It looks worse. Beware.

Had 3 different builders in 6 months - constantly changing communication times and methods and then none - items in home changed without notice or approval and with no apology, explanation or set off. Very frustrating process . Very disappointed

Logan homes will promise the moon and deliver dirt! They built the privacy berm in the middle of the lot, did not clear behind the berm, left an out building, a swing set and tree house on my property. We have talked to D Logan Jr. more than one time and he refused to address the issue. Called Logan Sr. he will not call back. We were told a golf cart was part of the deal. That changed half way through the buying. Wrong handles on cabinets, realtor in the community will tell you everyone’s business and violates all fair housing practices. And i could write a few more pages it goes on and on. They’ve gotten too big for their britches and could care less about their customers.

If you enjoy your beautiful yard, don’t have Logan homes build your house! I had a water drainage problem water would sit and puddle therefore killed the sod and grass will not grow! Landscape co said $400 repair. But Logan will not fix it because standing water is only after 24 hrs. It’s amazing to me Logan’s only good reviews are by real estate people and subcontractors that do work for Logan NOT people that purchased a home. Run away from this builder!

We purchased our lot through Logan Homes and they are currently in the process of starting to build our house. The staff of Logan Homes are excellent, very knowledgeable, helpful and always willing to exceed our expectations. We cannot wait to get our new home built, to the quality that we have witnessed during our purchasing process.

You can’t go wrong with Logan Homes, one of the premier builders we love working with. While providing beautiful, quality homes they make each customer feel welcome and appreciated. We are early into this journey. We have purchased our lot and selected our floor plan. We have many home details selected, but there is still much work to do. A lot of fine tuning. Dayna at Logan Homes has been great to work with. We're looking forward to getting the build started.

I moved into my Logan built home one year ago. Right from the start our experience with the design center was not good. The "designer" Cindy was horrible and had no clue on design or customer service. We got past that fiasco and started building. Jason our property foreman was awesome. (he has since left Logan) We were told by Jason that our property had a drainage issue but they were fixing the problem and were installing a french drain. Before even moving in we noticed half our patio gets flooded after it rains. We told our foreman and our warranty manager ( who is also no longer with Logan) After walking the property with the warranty mgr to find the french drain, he could not locate it. He said he he would contact the foreman to find out the location of the drain and get back to us. Well he never got back to us. Now the new warranty mgr comes over and we tell him about our drainage problem. he walks the property and you know what? you guessed it ,he can't find the mysterious drain. We have had a another builder from the neighborhood and the neighborhoods landscaper walk our property and both tell us that the land was not graded properly. We have been calling, emailing and texting Logan and their people for almost 4 months and not one return call. Once they get your money they could care less about you. I cannot believe a company would treat their customers in such a manner. The worst customer service by a builder that is well known in the area. Contact me before you make the mistake of choosing Logan to build your home, you will be glad you did.

Unsatisfied with home built by this builder. Unresponsive to continuing issues of landscape drainage. Took 8 months to fix installation problem with stove. Quality of products, workmanship lowest level one can expect. Blames buyer for their design flaws. Repairs need repairs.

We are in the process of finalizing the design of our Logan home in St James. From the very first interaction with Paula, sales consultant, to our current designer, Deb M, it has been professional and enjoyable. We had our home in NOVA built several years ago and it was not the best experience, so we were a bit nervous. We could not be happier with Logan homes and will be gladly recommending them and here is why: 1. Knowledge and experience of the staff, kudos to Paula and Deb. 2. Extras are fantastic quality at reasonable prices. 3. They really listen to your needs, but make sound recommendations. 4. The quality of the model homes was excellent...can't wait for our house to be built. 5. Choices were unbelievable and beautiful at the design center. You truly customize your home. 6. We were given an allowance to customize our appliances. We met with Ferguson's, also fantastic, and very knowledgeable. Our salesman has been in the appliance business for over 30 years, the last eight in Wilmington. He is now having a new home built by....yes, Logan homes. I will post an update and pictures.
