we purchased Todd Johnston home in Sarasota in 2017. We have been having non ending problems with the home he built. Many things were done very low quality. The courtyard was lied in a way that any time it rained it flooded up to the door. The stone pavement was made out of crooked stones. See pictures. Not even one stone was not broken. AC kept breaking every other week. Water heater did not work properly, we could get only look warm water. We had to exchange numerous appliances, sinks were leaking and it was impossible to fix them as they have never been sold in twenty years. AC water dispenser was lied in improper manner so that finally closed was flooded. We live in this house almost three years now and we still dealing with builders flaws. We will have to replace the whole courtyard pavement. We had to install gutters as the whole house foundation was flooded with each rain. And the builder did not conduct property survey so that the neighboring properties communications( irrigation and drainage) were installed five feet into our property.

Todd built our first home is Sarasota. His attention to detail was more than expected and the customer service after occupancy was fantastic. The quality and price combined to make our home a great value. Wish I still lived in the home.

Johnston Homes is building our home & they have been bending over backwards to accomodate our every wish. They stay in constant contact & keep us apprised of every new development. Would do it all again as long as they are the ones building our home!
