Since founding her eponymous design firm in 2003, Sara Story has forged a reputation for imparting to all her projects an ineffable style she can truly call her own. Drawing inspiration from extensive travels, an active interest in contemporary art and fashion, and a rigorous lifestyle, Sara wields a keen eye to exact her aesthetic vision: crisp, elegant, and comfortable gestures that thoughtfully balance multiple elements of good design for an everyday, polished life. Sara earned a B.F.A from the University of San Diego and a degree in Interior Architecture from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Critical acclaim of her townhouse renovation at Gramercy Park propelled Sara onto the design world's radar, and Elle Décor magazine named Sara one of the “Top 5 to Watch in 2011.” Always dynamic, the firm continues to work on residential and commercial projects worldwide. In 2012, Sara launched a wallpaper collection that transforms traditional Asian motifs for a contemporary audience with both basic classic and edgier tastes.
