Unfortunately, it's been far too long before I reviewed Bardwell Homes, but I have to give Scott and his crew the highest of ratings. Bardwell Homes built my custom home almost 4 years ago and we're still in love with it as much today as we were back then. I'm the "Modern Acadian Home" in UCP in his pictures, if you want photos. Scott worked with us from day 1, when we found we overshot our dreams with the architect, where he helped us make reasonable cuts here and there to our plans so we could get within our budget. Every step of the way, Scott and his team keep you informed (both by live contact and their online system of providing deadlines, updates, pictures, etc.). Scott was always helpful in suggesting ways to cut costs here and there to keep you within budget, and always willing to discuss and resolve issues. Anyone who has ever built a home knows that things can get a little hot and tense along the way, but every time I had a meltdown and exploded on Scott, he kept calm, took it in stride, defused the situation and keep things moving. Even on the warranty issues after the house was completed - they didn't leave us high and dry. Scott was responsive and attentive (even personally coming to the house on an early Sunday morning to look at a leaking dormer during a torrential downpour). Bottomline - first rate work, super quality people at the company, attentive, cooperative, suggestive, and will do everything in their power to keep your project on time and on budget. I couldn't have been happier (unless it was free!! lol). And a huge shout out to his staff too, who were super knowledgeable, friendly and professional (including, Michael Phung, our project supervisor, and his [Scott's} sister, Emily, who keeps everything running smoothly - it's a family business).
