I was a prospective buyer and attended the 2013 Bloomington parade of homes. I had the pleasure of evaluating Rubicon's award winning home in Renwick. I was so impressed with the design. It was unlike anything I am used to seeing in Bloomington. Very contemporary, full of clean lines, and green materials. I had the opportunity to speak with one of the owners of Rubicon while I was there, and was pleasantly shocked with how affordable building a custom home can be. They even have their own custom cabinetry shop. I look forward to building with Rubicon.

Rubicon did a wonderful, high quality job building our house. They were very helpful in guiding us when we asked for help and listened to our opinions when we felt confident making decisions. They use great subcontractors, and we are very pleased with the way our house turned out. We really cannot say enough good things about them. We would recommend them (and have) to anyone interested in any size project. They were well versed in the use of structurally insulated panels and geothermal heating and worked well with these installers. Michael and Kevin both have an interest in substanable building practices and we were the beneficiaries of their knowledge in this area. Building a house is not a stress-free experience, but the people at Rubicon made it as pain free as possible. If we ever build another house, we will definately use Rubicon.

We hired Rubicon Custom Homes to design & build our new home. From the beginning, they displayed a high level of professionalism and guided us through each step. Every deadline was met, the level of quality was superb, every person we encountered was pleasant and every phone call and email was returned promptly. This was our first custom home and although we have heard many stories of builders gone bad our experience has been the opposite. In fact, when one of the partners overhead me say that I was displeased with a sink I picked out, he called me to tell me that I should go pick out a new one.....they would take out the one I didn't like and put a new one it....it just matters to them if you, the customer, aren't happy. ( and this was my mistake, not theirs)! They are still assisting is in some additional projects and we appreciate having someone we can rely on to get the job done.

My husband and I worked with Rubicon on renovating our kitchen. Kevin and his team made it such an easy and smooth process. They are creative and help you make your vision a reality. They are very detail-oriented when it comes to knowing the plan and costs. The quality is excellent and we couldn't have had a better experience than we did with Rubicon.
