CxS Designs

We worked with CxS Designs for all of our interior design needs. We engaged them when we moved into a new 6 room, 5 bath, 4200 square foot home, where we had a lot of ideas, and very little time to think through them ourselves. We were also engaging in multiple major renovations, so we needed CxS to help us think through everything from the layout of the renovation, to building new cabinetry, to furniture selections, to lighting, to art & accessories. We also had very busy personal lives - had a new baby, were busy with work, etc., and had never worked with an interior designer before, so probably not the easiest client in the world :) Cristina and Sonia were fantastic from end to end. Most importantly, we love the way our home looks, and we can confidently say we wouldn’t have been able to do this without them. Also, in terms of customer service, they were highly communicative and accommodating - when we had to move meetings, or when our project budget or design preferences changed, they rolled with the punches. Lastly, pricing and fees were very fair for the value delivered. Would definitely hire again and would recommend to anyone that is considering hiring a designer!

CxS did a one room redesign for our home office and it is amazing. Cristina picked the most beautiful finishes. We love working in the new space. We would use CxS again for the rest of the house. We will post a photo soon! Highly recommend!!!

I started working with Sonia and Cristina a few years ago designing my apartment at the Ritz Carlton. I'm very passionate about interior design and I've always had a specific vision for my place so for me, being involved in the design process was a must. The girls were very accommodating and catered to my needs. We would meet on a weekly basis and research furniture together, which made the process fast and super smooth. My apartment turned out absolutely gorgeous and I was so proud to have friends over and entertain all the time. I ended up becoming really close with Cristina and Sonia and we are currently working on my new home. I cannot compliment them enough, from their amazing eye for design, attention to detail and personalized customer service, these girls are a dream to work with.

I hired CxS Designs on a full high-end remodel of an existing 2,600 SF home in Playa del Rey, CA, which was an investment/flip. They were well-priced, fair, very experienced and their taste was exceptional. They gave me great options for all the finishes, fixtures, etc. that I could choose from. I worked primarily with Sonia. She was always available throughout the entire process to answer any questions, research materials, provide estimated material costs, source the material or personally go with me to the tile shop, hardwood flooring shop, etc. Very happy and will definitely use again on the next one.

Sonia, Cristina and team are incredible at what they do throughout every step of a project. Their genuine love of design, warm dispositions and impeccable detail makes working with them a breeze and fun. Whatever your questions or concerns are, they are there to guide you. They listen and deliver a superior end result. Couldn’t be happier.

We worked with CxS Designs on a couple of projects and they were the best. As a general contractor we don't always work closely with the designer, but on this one, we worked super close and they took care of our client the whole way. I highly recommend CxS Designs. Cristina and Sonia are responsive, friendly, and trustworthy. We've had a great professional relationship for a few years now. I've referred them to clients and have seen their beautiful work. More recently, they completely transformed a client's space. The house was a modern, new build at the time of purchase; however, some of the materials felt out of style. They were able to update the design - taking the home from dated and dark to light, sophisticated and modern. My client felt their personal look was achieved and the materials were updated cohesively so the new furnishings and finishes blended seamlessly. They very pleased with how it all turned out. We contracted CxS Designs to consult on the build process of our 7200 sq ft. house and then to completely design furnishings for the new living room, family room, and powder room. They were amazing!!!! They were organized, timely, and paid attention to every detail. Amazing experience with Cristina and Sonia. Highlights 1. End to end service that included much more than what I expected when I first started looking for interior designers. They connected me with a great contractor who remodeled our entire kitchen and fireplace. 2. Inspired modern design with incredible attention paid to detail. One of the places where this is most visible is in our master bathroom. The choice to put tile on the wall around the mirrors was something I never would have even considered on my own. Now that it’s there I can’t imagine living without it. Constant compliments from all my friends that visit as well. 3. Budget oriented approach. For every design option Cristina and Sonia laid out, they included both cost conscious options as well higher end statement pieces. Mixing and matching allowed us to stay within our budget while still hitting the design specs we wanted. There was never any pressure for us to pick the higher price products. When it came time for the final touches with accessories I was honestly shocked by how cheap some of the decorations were given how well they fit our scheme and how high end everything looked. I think the best signal of the quality of a business is its ability retain customers and generate repeat business. A few months after they finished working in my place I reached out to Cristina and Sonia again to have them do a quick design for my sister’s new studio in San Francisco. They turned around the design super quickly and also managed to make her place looking amazing using exclusively Ikea furnishings (our request). Highly recommended and will definitely be looking for them for a design when I move.

We enjoyed working with Sonia and Cristina a lot when designing our new home! They were professional, prompt with replies and we loved their taste. They were very conscious of budget which we appreciated and showed us options for furniture pieces that had a wide range of price so we had many options. We have recommended them to friends for design help and would recommend them to anyone!

I have known both Christina and Sonia for a few years and have been proud to work on their projects they are detailed designers and work harmoniously with their suppliers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as I feel they make an excellent team that values what their clients needs are. I highly recommend working with Sonia & Cristina! They were of great assistance on a construction project rental we did last year. I enjoyed working with them as they were always on-time and available when we needed them. We were able to create a clean and functional design that was within our budget.
