Harrison Fence

I can't speak for their quality of work because I can't get them to come out. My wife and I had them out the first week of April and signed their quote that day because we wanted to ensure we could get the work done by the end of June to coincide with other projects we're getting done to our backyard. However, even though we signed that day, it took us over a month to get in touch with them to pay the deposit and get on the schedule. After threatening to go somewhere else, they finally called around mid May and we were able to pay the deposit and schedule them to come out July 12th. We then coordinated the installation of a retaining wall to accommodate for a section of where the fence will be going. This was completed a couple weeks out and I called the the guy at Harrison to see about him coming out to do what they needed to do be able to do the install around the retaining wall. He said he would coordinate with the guy from the company doing the wall. So, I figured everything was on track. Well, Three days out from when they were due to come out, my wife called them to confirm because we, nor the guy doing the retaining wall, had heard anything. Well, wouldn't you know, the girl told my wife that they weren't coming out and couldn't give us a new date because they didn't have the materials. She said that they would be in touch two weeks out because that's when they get confirmation that materials have shipped from their supplier. We've still not heard anything. None of this adds up to me. The guy never told me that there may be an issue with making the July 12th date when I called and talked to him about the area with the retaining wall. Also, when my wife called and paid the deposit and got on the schedule almost two months ahead of time, it was never communicated that we should be aware of possible delays due to the materials not arriving on time. This tells me two things, either Harrison is completely unconcerned with customer service and treats their clients like they're disposable. Or, they're dishonest and/or incompetent and either purposefully or accidentally used the materials originally slated for our job on another and don't want to tell us. Either way, they are completely unprofessional and I wish my wife weren't in the position to where we'd just wait about as long if we cancel the work Harrison is supposed to do for us and go with another company as we would if we just wait on Harrison to do what they originally promised. Either way, it's frustrating because our entire backyard project is delayed due to Harrison. So, I write this to say, if you don't care when or if your project get's done, by all means go through Harrison. But, if you actually want to give your money to someone that respects their clients enough to communicate with them or actually do the work they're supposed to do, please go with someone else.

Had only heard great things about this company, so picked them to do our install. Long story short, if you can stand to deal with unreliable people and no integrity, you’ll eventually get a great looking fence. Scheduling was botched. We were told a few weeks if we signed contract ASAP.. we did, but then they didn’t schedule us and we had to wait and get in line after asking where they were. When they came, fence installers were great, fence looked great with exception of some nails sticking out. They did hit the irrigation line even though we marked the sprinklers but it’s not like there were lines on ground for pipes, so we are the cost on that. We then spent significant energy and time tracking them down to do the stain and repair the fence (months of trying to just get a cal back). Called and emailed the owner... and then we got a call back, but was ghosted again after they sent staining contract and we signed/returned. Only reliable person in the company has been Shauna from finance. Now the stain is done, fence looks great, but the gate doesn’t work... been waiting nearly 2 months now for them to send a repair person... when they repeatedly don’t show, it’s because someone is fired or injured, etc. which I’m sad to hear, but as a customer it would be nice to get a courtesy call. For the repair, I even tried to sweeten the pot with a request for a quote to expand a part

Harrison Fence installed a 6 foot high vinyl fence in our new yard. The company rep was available to meet us on site and discuss options in a clear and friendly manner. The differences between products, including pros and cons, was explained and we were able to make a good choice for our home. The work crew came on time and did a great job on the install. One part was missing and we did have to wait a few weeks for that, but that was not a big deal (did not impact function of the fence). We've had the fence for a few months and we are very happy with it.

VERY DISAPPOINTED ...the design recommendation of the sales person did not take into account the topography of our lot...so we were left with an enormous gap under the double gate...not only am I being charged to correct the situation...it has been a month since the original install and they have not showed up yet to correct the matter...there have been two appointments and the installers have not shown up either time. The office manager has been completely unavailable throughout the process ...she has never ONCE called me back. Only after numerous phone calls to the office and then finally tracking down the the installers that had been here did i finally get some kind of response. The scheduler, while polite on the phone, is completely ineffective. A month after the original install...I still don't have a resolution... The sad thing is that I've used this company before and been very pleased and in my role as a Realtor, have recommended them to my clients...but something has changed in the organization...CUSTOMER BEWARE!!! As you can see from the picture below...there is a large gap on one side of the fence gate and the other side of the gate cannot even be opened...in all fairness to the installers...they realized with this gate design, I would have to regrade the lot to make it functional and were trying to minimize the height of the gap on the other side. I believe they were doing their best to work with what they had...my issue is with the original design consult and most especially the complete lack of concern by the company's management to resolve the matter....as of the writing of this note, the company has not been able to tell me when it will be resolved...they say they are waiting to hear back from the "office manager".

I had my backyard fence installed by Harrison Fence about a year and a half ago. I had obtained three quotes and went with Harrison Fence b/c their quote was in the middle range. The variables to consider in choosing a fencing company are the caliber of fencing materials, expertise in installation, and level of service. For every variable, Harrison Fence met and exceeded my expectations.

These guys were amazing. Having gotten a good reference from a neighbor, we employed them for a wind barrier on the side of our patio. It looks awesome as well as being very well built. The sales guy was professional and LISTENED to what we wanted - and arranged for it to happen in an exceedingly timely manner. The crew that set the 3 6x6 by 12 foot poles were efficient & courteous and answered all my questions and concerns. 2 days later (the poles had to be set in concrete due t length) the "build the wall" crew arrived on schedule and finished the project in short order & very meticulously professionally. I am a guy who for years has built pretty much every project in and around my houses and I have to say that these guys built to my standards! I highly recommend this company!

overall good work. done in 2 days. Price was good. I wish the gates were a little sturdier (bigger posts maybe) and a little wider. supposedly a drive gate, but truck won't fit through.
