Axis 3 Architects, PC. is owned and operated by a father and sons team, Stephen, Jason and Josh Sigler, with office located in Temecula, California, offering over sixty years experience relating to the art and science of the architectural industry. Axis 3 Architects, PC. believe that the purpose of architecture is to create indoor and outdoor living environments that improve and inspire our lives and communities. The relationship process between Client and Architect is a crucial part of their overall design process. It begins with an initial interview meeting at the site with the Owner and Architect to better understand the specific site requirements and the Owners desires and provides the Owners the opportunity to “interview” the Architect in a more informal approach. This initial meeting is typically “no charge” to the Owner, and welcomes the discussion of overall project process, services, basic fees, overall building site considerations, utilities, and basic project feasibility. A second meeting commences, again typically at the site and moves to your existing home or office with an extensive design questionnaire, where your thoughts and ideas are gathered and organized as the overall design begins to take shape, thus establishing your needs and wants so the architectural team can help create the home of your dreams. Axis 3 consistently promotes an open dialog between the Client, Architect and General Contractor to obtain realistic solutions with respect to project scope, budget and schedule. As Principal Architect, Stephen C. Sigler has provided a vast array of architectural services, including land planning and architectural design for various commercial, institutional, industrial, multi-family and single family residential facilities. His career began in the Inland Empire and the Desert Area by providing various design for commercial facilities, custom homes and remodels. The office is located within the Inland Valley serving an array of communities in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties to North San Diego County. Axis 3 has implemented a variety of architectural design styles including Mediterranean, Contemporary, International, Mid Century Modern, Bungalow and Ranch themes. Each are composed by the desires and functional needs of the owner, as well as the existing site & topography, and is therefore uniquely appropriate, functional and aesthetically pleasing as a completed project.

We began the design of our new home in Temecula Wine District with an Inspiration Board(see photo) that communicated a visual "dream home and dream property". Fortunately, Stephan, from Axis 3 Architects drove by our little 2 Acre lot everyday on his way to work. Our paths finally crossed once I found him on "houzz". We came to an agreement that Axis 3 would help us convert our inspiration to a house plan that could make our dreams come true. Little did we know that we were going to go through a process which we have never experienced, although we have built other homes. The first thing Stephen asked us to do was walk out to the middle of our lot and Stephen had us turn a full 360 degree circle and we told him which views we loved, which ones we liked and which ones we would rather avoid. This helped Stephen roughly layout the placement of the house on the property and begin the arrangements of the rooms within the house. The second activity was to have Stephen design the floor plan based on how we wanted to "live" in the house. What "view" from the Kitchen; from the Master Bedroom, etc. After many meetings we finally found the design that fit our needs. With other projects, this is when the architect begins the tedious work involved in making the plans that a contractor can use to build the home. Not Stephen and Jason. The next activity stunned us. Jason took the floor plan and created a 3-D picture of what our house was going to look like when it was finished. You have to see this to believe it. This was a valued-added service that made it so much easier for us to visualize our home. I want to jump to the end of the process. After months of design, making changes, changing our minds on the design, a lot of very personal back and forth with Stephan and Jason, our plan was submitted to Riverside County and only required very minor corrections after their review. This is the signature of their service. They are careful, complete and professional. Now that we are actually building the house, our contractor has been able to "build" the house from Stephan's plan with minimal clarifications. Once the house is completed I will add a completed photo so everyone can see how close it is to the original 3-D version.

Axis 3 Architects started my project by sitting in lawn chairs on a 5 acre lot, looking at the views. Stephen incorporated the all of our ideas and then designed one of the most beautiful homes you can imagine - with 360 degree views, the largest garage ever, a master bedroom wing and guest bedroom wing in the house - which makes it great for guests to come and stay. Excellent design process and attention to design detail. Thank you Stephen and Jason.

I hired Stephen and Jason to design a custom high-end home for me in the Canyon Lake area. This was my first time developing a property from the ground-up and, aside from their design services, which were fantastic, I was struck by their professionalism in helping me through the rather daunting process of building something from scratch. They clearly had a wealth of experience from which to draw, providing excellent feedback and advice throughout the entire process. The home that they designed ended up as a beautiful contemporary/modern design perfectly situated to the strengths and features of the site and the surrounding neighborhood. I retained Stephen Sigler/Axis3Architects to design a custom home I had built in coastal Oceanside a few years back. I had a clear vision of what I wanted, and Stephen not only executed on it, but improved it. From the first day that we went to the site and he questioned, suggested, but mostly listened, to the last few tweaks before the plans were finalized, the process was a pleasure; and Stephen's enthusiasm seemed to mirror my own. The end product is, in my opinion and the opinion of many passers-by who have offered their compliments, a truly beautiful home. Moreover, having lived in it for some 5-6 years now, there isn't a change that I would make to the interior flow and layout. It maximizes the space while maintaining a consistent and attractive aesthetic. In short, there's nothing I would have done differently about this project, including hiring Axis3Architects.

My wife and I purchased property in Southern California's Temecula Wine Country a few years ago and last year we began searching for an architect who was not only actively working in our area, but one who could share our vision of creating a Tuscan style home that would maximize all the incredible views our challenging hillside property had to offer. After meeting with Stephen we knew we found the right Architect for us. Stephen is a knowledgeable, patient, and very personable professional. After a few months of "old school" pen & pencil design collaboration we arrived at the basic floor plan for our dream house. At that point Stephen introduced us to his son, Jason (also an Architect), who transferred our floor plan to CAD and proceeded with adding all the details, including developing 3-D images of what the house will ultimately look like on our property! Working closely with Stephen and Jason throughout the past year has proven to be an exciting, synergistic process. At this time we are nearing design completion and are preparing to submit final design for Plan Check. While I not only highly recommend Axis3Architects to anyone else looking for a competent architectural firm in the Temecula/Riverside County area, in the case of my wife and I - we believe we have two new friends in Stephen and Jason.

We bought a property in Temecula. We hired Stephen to work on the plans for our new home. As of today, I have to say that our experience has been GREAT!! Their professionalism and expertise has made all of this worth while. Its taking a little longer that we expected but I truly don't mind because I can see and feel that they want us to be truly happy with the outcome. We are very close to completing the plans and cant wait for construction to begin.

Stephen is great to work with. He is quite when you first start the process. But I found he was studying my house, me, and my husband to try to understand our needs and tastes. He worked well with change orders. My contractors loved him. My husband and I could not be happier with the outcome. The kitchen and great room remodel is awesome. When we needed to tighten the budget he came up with cost saving options for us.
