About Us

We are a family firm based in Highbury, Islington. We specialize in high-end residential work (interiors, exteriors, renovations, extensions and new buildings). We are also very fortunate to work on inspiring community projects and Listed Buildings. Adrie has more than 20 years’ experience of designing and leading residential projects on every scale. He moved to the UK from Holland in 1997. Before joining forces with Jo, Adrie was Associate Director and Head of Technical Design at award-winning residential specialists PTE architects. Adrie is an accredited ISO auditor for quality control in design and construction and also works as a quality control consultant. Jo is an award-winning architect with more than 16 years’ experience working on complex projects from inception to completion. She has worked in residential, leisure & conservation work. Jo gained a first class degree at the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow & won several prizes. She set up Jo Edwards Architects in 2010 and was joined by her husband, Adrie Rensen in 2012 to become Edwards Rensen Architects (ERA).
