When we first decided to renovate our home, we had an idea of what we wanted, but had trouble piecing it all together. Before moving conversation to renovations, Patti did a thorough job of trying to understand who we were, what our needs were and what some of our short-term and long-term goals were. With this background information, Patti was able to provide us with insight as to how our living space and home could not only reflect who we are, but also help us achieve everything we had our sights set on. Her experience helped us pick the best products and finishes for both our style and budget, and ensured even the smallest of details were attended to. Her professionalism created a sense of calmness and predictability during a time that felt like anything but. It removed an abundance of stress having an experienced professional there to walk us through everything, from understanding our space and the possibilities it offered, to working with contractors and suppliers when problems inevitably arose. I have wanted to update my kitchen for a very long time but being a senior on a limited budget I just didn't know where to start. Patti, of PH'Designs helped me to determine what I hoped to accomplish that would be within my budget. She found me excellent contractors, helped to narrow down my choices re countertop, backsplash and cabinets which made the decisions so much easier. Everything went very smoothly and I am so very happy with the end result. Thank you Patti for all your help and excellent suggestions.

Patti from pH designs has now finished decorating the majority of our house. We have loved working with her over the past 5 years. She has drawn inspiration from our current decor and artwork that we treasure. Our latest project, the kitchen, is strikingly unique, with soft whites and Hudson Bay blue. At our request, Patti took charge and selected all small fixtures, lights, tumbled tile and even arranged the pictures on the wall. She has a wonderful eye for ensuring there is flow in the home but surprises with each turn of a corner. Our living and dining rooms are warm and welcoming with deep colours that promote serenity. She also decorated our bedroom; altering the curtains, selecting the furniture and sewing the bed linen! The result is a Zen-like, calming refuge. It is easy to share one’s thoughts and ideas with Patti. She is respectful, thoughtful and open-minded but will also present new ideas and insights that ultimately make a positive impact in the overall design. We highly recommend Patti for any project, small or large. It has been a pleasure to work with her.

We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Patti on our recent kitchen renovation. She worked collaboratively with our cabinet maker and helped us pull all the pieces of the overall design together so that it blended beautifully with the rest of our home. Patti made selecting flooring, counter tops, back splash, sink/faucet etc very easy with her knowledge of what is available in the ever changing market. She is efficient, organized and well connected with wonderful trades people and suppliers who were all a pleasure to work with throughout the process. This kitchen renovation was our second collaboration with Patti. She had previously helped us with an upstairs bathroom reno that turned out beautifully; so if one marker of a happy client is return business, we can check that box. I also call this a collaboration because although Patti expertly drives the process and vision for these projects, she is very much a collaborator, working with and guiding us (the client) to ensure that what we get is what we want -sometimes even when we don't "know" it's what we want. Patti has an exceptional gift for "seeing" potential even for a small space (which is what our space was) and turning it into something spectacular (which is what it's become). As importantly for our kitchen space, she also managed to help turn it into a much more functional space. In this our second opportunity to work with Patti, we are doubly pleased with the results.
