“We worked with Josh to design and project manage an extension to our 1930s house in Dublin 7. It included demolishing our old kitchen and lean-to sheds, and building a new kitchen/dining room with a downstairs bathroom / utility room. Beforehand we visited several clients in the local area who had positive experiences with House Architects. The pricing structure was very clear. Josh was a pleasure to work with, and unflappable, which is always very reassuring. Once we had designs we were happy with, he worked to put the project out to tender and managed the relationship and the payments to the builder. This was the most valuable aspect for us. Particularly towards the end of the project, there were probably issues where we would have let the builder cut corners, but it was great to have Josh there to hold the line and ensure the project was completed to specification. “Rod was our architect for an addition to our country house during 2017. Theproject included a big studio-library, and a sitting room with a balcony,overlooking the garden. The ceiling is inclined and very high, supported by wooden beams.The result is beautiful and very practical. He also provided us with a spacefor computer work and two large bedrooms. Rod came up with a great design, helped us find a team of very competent builders, and then performed assiduous Inspections and kept in touch with the workers during the construction process.
