Sarah Jordan Gardens

Sarah did a magnificent job on our garden. It was a full-scale revamp to include total clearance of the old garden, laying stonework, installing a water feature, planting, and electrics. She is skilled, knowledgeable, pleasant, and — perhaps most important of all — genuinely enthusiastic about what she does. I had very high expectations for this project and Sarah exceeded them. I simply could not be more pleased with my new garden and am looking forward to seeing how it develops in the spring. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

Sarah Jordan has a very special and unique talent and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. Sarah's skill as a garden designer is based upon a solid knowledge of plants, materials and lighting, a well developed sense of good taste, and an appreciation of function and budget. She also knows the best people to work with and is an excellent project manager. Her attention to detail is superb. Sarah has designed my front and back garden. She has created two beautiful spaces that I am very proud of and enjoy being in. My garden always get an amazing reaction from friends, family, neighbours and passers by. Every day when I look at my garden , I thank Sarah. I truly appreciate every single thing she did with my front and back garden and how wonderfully patient she was. She is a pleasure to work with.

Sarah recently designed our small city centre garden. Sarah was fantastic to work with from start to finish; she really listened to our brief and got to know us and our family, as well as our families needs. She was so easy to work with, and provided advice along the way. We are beyond thrilled with the end result! Cannot recommend her highly enough.

We had a fairly bare 50ft front garden, facing on to South Circular Rd in Dublin. We wanted a smart looking garden, low maintenance that provided screen cover from the road. Sarah came up with easy to execute and clear plan, a clear vision of how the different plants and trees would look in the future, costs, current and future maintenance needs. I couldn't recommend her more highly. Easy to deal with, straight forward, nothing was complicated, the whole process was enjoyable. She was able to interpret what we needed and give a few options, again - making the options uncomplicated and easy to envisage. It was by far the least hassle and most enjoyable part of our house move. The new garden was put down in 2015 and is performing exactly as I'd hoped and looks great.

We had the pleasure of working with Sarah when she helped us design our front garden in May 2016. The whole process was very positive & from start to finish, Sarah listened to all our ideas & requirements for the garden, we needed to incorporate bins into the design etc. She helped us transform a once muddy unattractive patch into a beautiful, functional & unique garden. Sarah has a great eye for detail & excellent knowledge of plants & shrubs, she helped us with the all important aftercare too, all the plants she chose for our east facing garden are thriving & we are delighted with the results. Excellent job, we would highly recommend Sarah.

We hired Sarah to work on our garden as we were doing a house extensive that had the back of the house all open with large window into the garden. We have a small garden but needed the garden not to look too small. We are so happy with the garden and people who come to the house have said that this is one of the best parts of our extension. I love the colours used which complement our kitchen colours. The planting was also advised by Sarah and we wanted colour plus easy maintenance which we got. We love the swing in the garden as we wanted something for the kids to enjoy. I still wanted to keep the grass and have a decent area for BBQ etc. It was a pleasure dealing with Sarah she was very easy to deal with and came up with the whole design concept. I would highly recommend Sarah.

For our small city garden we gave Sarah the brief that we wanted something elegant and low maintenanace in 2008. What we got far exceeded our expectations. The design and lay out was exactly what we had hoped for. We have year round colour, a water feature and seating with underneath storage. In terms of maintenace other than an annual trim to the buxus and hedging and some seaonal tidying it looks after itself. I would highily recommend Sarah and her team.

Sarah really listen to our request/needs for a city garden, She has a great attention to detail. Sarah designed our garden over four years ago now and we are still delighted with it. The garden has matured nicely with little or no maintenance . We are complimented about the garden by all our guests. p.s. we are not very green fingered people and no plants or trees have died with little or no maintenance in the four years!! We can only assume this is down to a great selection of suitable plants by Sarah. 5 stars very happy
