Landscape Architects and Garden Designers in Lathaleere, Co. Wicklow

“James has truly transformed our garden, his experience and guidance throughout the whole redesigning process was second to none. From the very outset his professionalism and extensive knowledge gave us confidence in what he was proposing. His draft plans were meticulously detailed, visionary and inspirational, yet he was open to suggestions and modifications from us. James gave us a planting plan which involved nearly 200 new plants, made numerous recommendations and still managed to incorporate many of our existing shrubs, which was important to us. James not only has the theory in spades - he is extremely practical and knows what will work and what won't. He often made practical suggestions for the hard landscaping which ultimately made the job go a lot smoother. James did all the planting himself and he is not afraid to get his hands dirty as he also installed the water feature and laid the synthetic grass himself - it looks brilliant by the way. We were a little apprehensive about bringing in such a high-end designer, but his expert knowledge, patience and practical know-how made it the right call. We cannot wait until the spring time! Thank you James for all your time spent with us to ensure we were happy. Regards Stephen & Ann Dooley”

“Could not recommend Kathryn and the team at Online Garden Designs more. We have a tricky and unusual garden space that we were at a loss as to what could be done with it. Kathryn listened to our likes and concerns as well as asking the right questions to get an accurate idea of our taste. The final designs are outstanding. We cannot believe what she managed to come up with for the space and she thought of things that the untrained eye would never come up with.”

“Tünde is a wonderfully sympathetic, intuitive and holistic designer – with her clients, the spaces she works in and the wider world around both. She is at one with nature and her warm personality envelops you in a nurturing hug! A genuine horticulturalist with a very individual eye for unusual plants, soft lines, bold structures and bursts of colour, she combines ornamentals with wildflowers and edibles, good quality soil and mulch with top-notch planting skills, and trees, trees and more trees. Her gardening philosophy is clear and challenging: ultimately, it’s about promoting sustainability and protecting biodiversity. Paying attention to detail and putting thought into everything she does, Tünde incorporates natural materials, elements and methods, such as the simple pond, beautifully crafted wooden benches and hügelkultur raised bed from her 2022 Forrest Garden for Bloom, creating natural habitats and perches and attracting bees, butterflies and other valuable insect life into her designs. In doing so, her gardens enable us to rest and relax and appreciate and enjoy our outdoor environments in a way that soothes, replenishes and re-tunes our senses.”
