“Excellent travail tant sur le plan de la conception, du choix des matériaux, des végétaux que de la réalisation des travaux. Nous avons d'abord confié le réaménagement de l'avant de la maison qui a été réalisé en août 2015 par Martin Aubé et son équipe, puis comme nous avons été ravis du résultat final, nous avons décidé de réaménager une partie de la cour arrière à l'automne 2015. Même satisfaction sur toute la ligne. Tous les membres de l'équipe ont été très respectueux et professionnel. Nous recommandons sans aucune hésitation cité-champêtre.”

“After a search for a landscaper on the internet, I stumbled upon Horta's website. We met David for an initial consultation and knew right away that his vision and approach was different from the other "big shop" landscaper we usually see in our neighborhood. His ideas were creative and in line with what had been discussed. The bidding and hiring process was clear, easy and without surprises. David and his team were always on site on time and we would be kept up to date with the progress of work and small changes that had to be done. We especially appreciated the care given to our existing plants and their willingness to recycle and reuse materials in the most environmentally friendly way. Being in the city, it was also great to see how professional and respectful they were with our neighbors. They finished ON TIME and ON BUDGET and the final result was beyond our expectations. We can't wait to enjoy our garden this summer. Again, we couldn't recommend David and his team enough.”

“In 2009, we installed a swimming pool in our back yard and we wanted primarily to have perennials so as not to have to plant too many flowers, bushes etc each year. Of course we had both full sun areas and dark areas under cedar bushes to provide a little challenge. My wife planned a rosebush garden and a "zen" garden to enhance the overall look. Allan Becker was awesome; he came over to our home many times with alternatives and discussed the choice of perennials and bushes as well as which flowers would fit our garden and would be both beautiful and hard to kill, and suggested which annuals would be good to fill in until the perennials had grown in fully. He guided us with some plants that bloomed in early summer, mid summer and early autumn so our back yard is quite colourful the entire summer period. Oh yes, he also designed our front yard with bushes and perennials in addition to plants on the front walk to our home. My wife puts flowers each summer to provide a fresh look but the great work repeats annually based on the input from Allan Becker, the garden guru. He was easy to work with and listened carefully to what we wanted and then came up with a very workable and rather inexpensive plan.”

“I have worked with Hodgins and Associates for more than 15 years on a wide variety of projects. Most recently we redesigned a section of the garden to create a contemporary water feature called the Aqueduct. Eric Fleury was the point person on this project and I have nothing but praise for his abilities. He worked to schedule, was always available for consultations and guided the whole process in an extremely professional manner. Our whole family is delighted with the results, and for visitors it is a big WOW! Myke Hodgins has a depth of professional knowledge that is hard to beat. Whether for a large project like the Aqueduct or for much smaller projects, I have been extremely happy with the results. Everyone in the firm is pleasant, easy to work with and able either to take full charge or to collaborate, as the project and my own needs required. I recommend them highly.”
