On one occasion they not only added a bay window to our dark living room, opening it to a gorgeous view of our wooded property, but they completed it on a tight deadline, mostly in the rain! At the same time they detected a problem with an existing deck that was a safety issue and took care of that as well. We have been very happy with the Aguirre's work; they are skilled and creative in their work, have an excellent work ethic and are pleasant to work with. We will definitely use them again if the need arises.”

In our case, we were very involved in the design process - which included making some changes to Jim's preliminary drawings. He was fine with that - and liked our input. Delivery went as planned. He came on site several times as the units were being installed, and came back after installation to make adjustments without charge. Jim's services included planning and delivering of all cabinetry for a custom kitchen and for three full baths. “My husband and I built our retirement home high in the mountains north of Asheville. We were referred to Mason by a builder, and although we ultimately went with another builder, we stayed with him for our kitchen/baths. This was our dream home...log and timber, and I am an avid cook, but had NO idea how to begin designing a kitchen. I spent many mornings with Mason...he asked specific questions about how I cooked and organized, and my likes/dislikes. It came out better than I ever expected. We wanted a home that was sophisticated, yet rustic. He suggested knotty cherry that was perfect...also a black heirloom that looks really rustic (on my island and as a piece of furniture incorporated within the caramel colored cabinetry). Also, I knew I wanted something different above a 48 inch rangetop.... and we finally settled on a stone surround that mirrored our large stone fireplace in the great room across from it, , that included spice racks built into the stone on each side. I haven't mentioned yet that the prices were comparable to semi-custom- he was less than our Lowes estimate (for comparable materials). I went with his suggestions in the baths....particularly the Master, and all are beautiful. Once the design was done, she kept me posted while we waited for cabinets. A separate contractor was used and she seamlessly coordinated with him.
