My home remodel was wall to wall - floor to ceiling including bathrooms, electrical and custom-built products. In addition to the quality, professional work, it is the customer service provided that makes Croshier Construction stand out. Communication and follow-through each day was wonderful! I always knew what was going to happen because there was a sequential schedule we agreed to in advance so I could make work and living arrangements - the job prep before and after assured the rooms/projects were finished on time and ready for the next phase. Knowing his experience, listening to his recommendations, current trends and suggestions from previous jobs helped me develop ideas that worked well together for my home. The solid relationship with subs like plumber, electricians, flooring, cabinet maker, painters contributed to a team effort when they were in my home - they even took special care to work around my dog! Big bonus, the workspace for the day was always cleaned up as much as possible at the end of the day making it livable throughout the remodel.” Recently, I asked Croshier Construction to return to my home to re-build and replace an old patio cover and reseal the deck.”

“EcoArtisan Builders just completed our 1500 square foot whole-house remodel project for my wife and me. We were immediately comfortable with Mark and impressed with his open communication style, his "green" building credentials, and respect for the project's design (by David Underwood of Underwood Architecture/Design who also helped connect us with Mark.) The end result is our stunning new home which far exceeds our expectations. Just as importantly, the process of working with Mark was enjoyable, personal, professional, and rewarding at every step. I've worked with numerous builders in the past, and this is a really foreign experience for me -- a builder that cared as much about my project as I did! After the initial meeting we visited two of his recently-completed projects similar in scope to ours, and were again impressed with the quality, on-time completion, and obvious satisfaction of his clients. The bid was transparent and competitive, and also included a list of modest options to consider, almost all of which made sense for our project. The proposed schedule was faster than other bids which also save us additional thousands of dollars in temporary housing and storage costs. Overall, the total cost of the project was so competitive that we were able to include several upgrades to materials and finishes that we thought would be out of reach given our budget." During the entire project from demolition to completion the job site was impressively clean at the end of each day. Mark found and resolved many important issues that, in my experience, other builders would have ignored or not even noticed. And when issues did arise, the team (client, architect/designer, and builder) together worked out the best solution to preserve the design intent while minimizing impact to cost and schedule.”

“Bungalow 56 recently designed our home and it was such a wonderful experience. We had a very old home in Coronado that was in need of some major updating. I had a small cramped kitchen that was sectioned off from the family room and had the washer and dryer in the corner. The Bungalow 56 girls drew up plans that removed walls and created a large kitchen full of storage space. Next we moved onto finishes. They worked very closely with me to find everything from the stain for the cabinets to the bathroom fixtures. The whole process went so smoothly and I just love the finished product. “We are in the process of a DIY kitchen remodel but had a very challenging floor plan which did not flow very well nor did it follow the basic kitchen triangle layout. We found Kevin through the NKBA. He was the only designer who contacted us that was not a contractor looking for a remodel job. He came to our house for a consultation, and using his extensive knowledge, came up with a workable and functional design that we would have never thought of, taking into account our wish list. He also has a wealth of contacts for various other trades which was very helpful in our putting together our project plan and budget. The process that he follows from initial consultation to finished deliverable was top-notch. He starts with a rough draft which he converts into very professional 3-D designs. This allows his clients to give feedback and continue to refine until it is to the satisfaction of the client. The 3-D designs are then converted into 2-dimensional plans which are needed for the various aspects of a remodel. Overall, Kevin was a pleasure to work with. Even though we were a DIY client, I understand that he also works with contractors. We are so grateful that we were able to find someone willing to work with a DIY'er that could solve our challenging floor plan.”

“Working with Karin on our kitchen remodel design and installation was a breath of fresh air! We did an "Owner Builder" remodel on a 1914 craftsman that had an unfortunate remodel done in the 80's which required major updates to the kitchen/layout including moving and removing walls; lots of moving parts. Of all the trades/vendors working on the home during the remodel she brought to the table the most creative and functional suggestions and ideas along with the greatest attention to detail on the work being done. She visited the job site multiple times even before it came time to do the kitchen install; while others were working and brought to my attention things others were not correctly. She exhibited a hands-on approach that gave me confidence all would be done according to the plan and delivered on time and on budget! (pics before 100% complete)”
