Cannot recommend Jackie highly enough. She recently project managed a major overhaul of our house and was meticulous about every last detail. She was efficient, knowledgeable about every aspect of the work that needed to done, very pleasant to deal with, and her suggestions regarding the final finish were excellent. Not alone did she offer invaluable advice, she sourced all the necessary materials – carpets, rugs, fabrics, lights, etc. The tradespeople she engaged were invariably professional and courteous, and their work was of the highest standard. She made the entire procedure as painless as possible and we would not hesitate to call on her again.

We recently used Jackie Tyrell Design for the refurb of our kitchen due to a major underground leak. Jackie was extremely professional, knowledgeable, understood our requirements but also got us to reflect on our use of the space and take the opportunity to make changes. She offered us plenty of choice without it being overwhelming. Jackie sources quality products and negotiates on behalf of the client to ensure you are getting a good deal. Her attention to detail leaves Sherlock Holmes looking like an amateur. Above all, her personality makes her a great person to be around which is very handy when you are doing work in your home! The team of builder, electrician, plumber, painter and kitchen maker were super and all achieved the standards they promised . Job completed on time and there has been no call backs. Jackie came highly recommended by two friends and I was delighted with the advice we received from her. Our project is two-fold: things that we can do now to increase the feeling of space, storage and comfort in our rooms, but also considering how to future-proof our forever home. Jackie gave great ideas and advice on our current floor plan and planned extension works. With a lot of gentle (and patient) nudging, she showed me that my longed-for island will not fit in our space but gave us good alternative options! I will definitely be reaching out to Jackie again when our building works are complete.

I engaged with Jackie during lockdown to help finish and decorate my new home. Jackie was invaluable in helping to bring my thoughts to reality and guide me in finishing the house to a standard I love. Jackie not only offered design advice she also sourced lighting, wallpaper, flooring and furniture to complete the project. All of this during a pandemic meaning I didn’t have to leave my home. I would highly recommend Jackie for her professionalism, her ability to manage a project (remotely!) and how easy she was to work with. Will definitely use Jackie for any future projects.

Super service from Jackie, Jackie really put the fun into deciding on updating our house. We had a very specific brief and Jackie really helped us to realize it. She was incredibly professional, but at the same time very easy to work with. She gave us some fantastic ideas which we now implementing, particularly with regards to helping us with a colour palate for the house. Jackie took us out of our comfort zone in a very gentle and nice way and helped us to re-imagine our home. She was very generous with her time! We would wholeheartedly recommend Jackie to anyone.

Jackie did an amazing job for us, helping to design what we hope will be our forever home. We were renovating an old Edwardian house and adding a modern extension, so it was important that the two different parts came together in harmony. Jackie helped us choose flooring, lighting and everything else in between. She encouraged us to be brave and bold in our choices, but, just as important, made sure that we spent our money wisely. Jackie is incredibly reliable and is totally focused on making sure that her clients get the look that they want - one that suits their taste, lifestyle and budget.

We were building our forever home and hired Jackie Tyrrell Design, very early in the building process, to assist us in making interior design decisions. From our kitchen design to flooring, furniture to lighting Jackie assisted in every aspect. Jackie helped us create a wonderful, contemporary style home. She was so innovative, professional, talented and in tune with our expectations. She not only met our expectations, but she exceeded them. Furthermore, Jackie displayed levels of knowledge and insight in areas beyond her area of expertise which proved to be very beneficial to us during the build process. Jackie has a wealth of experience and also has great quality contacts and suppliers. We found Jackie to be very client focussed and very passionate about her work. She went over and above the call of duty for us. Jackie was very hands on and was always available to us by phone or email. She was very practical as she would say she “got us the best bang for our buck”. Jackie is a super lady and we absolutely loved working with her and would recommend her 100%.
