Hausology Design is a boutique Interior Design Studio based in Malahide, North Co. Dublin. Designing consciously and with sustainability, we create home interiors that are a reflection of you and take your health and wellbeing into account. We specialise in all aspect of interior design such as Kitchen & Bathroom planning and design, Colour consultancy, Space planning, Lighting design and Home Staging. We have a strong focus on sustainable design and designing homes for a positive impact on health and wellbeing. Our story is one that recognises how our homes can have a positive or a negative impact on our health. Lighting, artificial and natural, orientation and layout of rooms and good storage can all create a positive impact and we set out to maximise this in our designs. Initial Consultations start from €175 + VAT (1 Hour)

Sarah has been brilliant from start to finish. From the initial design concepts for a kitchen and bathroom refurb through to bringing me to shops to pick out tiles and project managing everything else that was needed. Always available at the end of the phone and she was onsite during the work to supervise. Overall, delighted with the end results and the service from Sarah.

Sarah helped us to give a brand new touch to our house - it looks as if we have a new house now ! Very helpfull in designing the project and most important for us Sarah managed to have all done in line with the calendar we wanted ... not an easy challemge but she managed to do it !

Looking at existing 5 star reviews for HausOlogy we decided to get in touch with Sarah for much needed advice and guidance as we were renovating our recently purchased house. From the very first contact Sarah was amazing, so approachable and easy to talk to and full of great expertise and ideas. She was with us all the way navigating the whole project which included replacing floors, painting, tricky internal structural changes and a fabulous overhaul of a very dated bathroom and bedroom! Thanks to Sarah and team our home now feels like our own and we just love spending time in it! We cant recommend HausOlogy enough!

I worked with Sarah in 2022 to renovate our primary bedroom in an old house in Portobello. We initially met in March for a project to take place in October as we were expecting our second child in July; I really appreciated that Sarah worked to our timeline. Sarah is an excellent communicator and I truly appreciate her design choices, I’m only sorry my budget didn’t allow for more. Every time I walk into the room now, it makes me very happy! I hired Sarah and Hausology Design to help me with my home which I needed to renovate as I had it rented for many years prior to moving back into it and I wanted it to be a reflection of me. We renovated the whole house replacing 2 bathrooms, kitchen and refreshing hall, living room, bedrooms and office. Sarah has great vision and came up with some wonderful ideas and colour schemes for all rooms, and colours and options I would not have considered myself. I had considered moving at one point, but I am so happy with how it has turned out now I am staying here. I can highly recommend Sarah and her team for any renovations you may be considering. We asked Hausology Design to help us with our extension renovation to our family home and had them recommended from a relative of ours. We couldn't have been happier. They were always happy to come to site when needed, happy to do everything, bringing us to showrooms and bringing samples to us as needed. The result of our design is very impressive indeed. We love the colour scheme & materials and furnishings throughout and they put a lot of thought into the lighting design. We had to do all of this through several lockdowns which made everything more difficult for all involved. I can highly recommend Sarah and Hausology Design for any of your design and renovation needs.

We are delighted with our new bathroom, designed and installed by Hausology, with enthusiasm, professionalism, great workmanship and neatness. We were pleasantly surprised that it only took five days to complete. This is a room that we didn't really use before as it wasn't fit for purpose, but now we really look forward to enjoying a relaxing shower in a modern environment. I recently completed an extension of my downstairs living area but felt it needed a bit of something so engaged Sarah to help/guide me. What she suggested for my wall was exactly what I was looking for without realising it instead of the usual pictures. Sarah put me in touch with an expert craftsman who made the perfect design and I am so happy with the finished product. Some little tweaks and additions to my living area and it looks fabulous. Would highly recommend Sarah at HausOlogy Design.

We engaged Sarah to inspire us with ideas for the whole of our downstairs. Our house layout is very different to our old house and we couldn’t decide on colour schemes or how everything would flow. Sarah came up with some fantastic ideas and pushed to think a little differently. We have ended up with colours we would never have thought of (or been brave enough to try) and we love it. Sarah is very easy to work with and flexible too. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her

We Hired Sarah and HausOlogy Design to help us renovate our new build which we purchased in 2020. We were a bit overwhelmed with where to start and Sarah made it so much easier for us and got the job done easily and without fuss. We were challenged with Covid lockdowns but she managed to get us living in the house within 2 months after we bought it with new floors, tiling and painting done. We had bespoke cabinetry throughout the house which was amazing and converted an en-suite into my dream walk in wardrobe. We found Sarah had great design ideas and really worked to our requirements, keeping in mind our budget at all times. Hausology have access to excellent tradespeople which did quality work and enabled our vision to become reality. I recently completed a complete refurb of my house and am absolutely delighted with the result. The refurb included new flooring, a complete new design and installation and fitout of a home office, significant electrical work, new colour schemes and soft furnishings throughout. I engaged Sarah to advise and oversee the project and it was the best decision I made, and have no hesitation in recommending HausOlogy Design and Sarah for similar projects. Her management of project was fantastic from start to finish, her team of craftsmen were all of the highest quality which ensured the highest quality finishes. What was also so helpful particularly during Covid was that Sarah sourced all the materials, brought all the options to me and then negotiated the purchases. it was a seamless process, and she intervened when needed to avoid me making some bad choices. I couldn't be happier with the result so a 5stars all round for HausOlogy.

Sarah is incredible!!! She worked with me on a bathroom project and managed the project so well and so expertly. I love my new bathroom it is truly beautiful. Working with Sarah is a dream, she is so open to your ideas and spends a lot of time really focussed on getting the concept right and to a stage you are 100% happy with, she also is an expert in her field and can tell you what will work/what won't work etc. The quality of the finished bathroom is out of this world! Would recommend her to anyone whether you are at early stages and are really not sure what you want or even if you have a full plan in mind -get Sarah in to help as soon as you can!

I had Sarah and her team come in and renovate an apartment that we had just bought. It was dated and dreary as had been rented prior to us buying it. We were looking to create a much brighter space. We wanted a bit of luxury and were prepared to spend money on quality materials but at the same time wanted it to be liveable and have a cosy homely feel. Sarah had great idea's and did a really great job on the design. What I didn't expect was that by spending money on an interior designer they can actually save you money through the discounts they can achieve but also by knowing where to buy materials of good value. Sarah also saved us so much time on driving around the city as she did all the necessary legwork here. We both work so would have spent all our weekends doing this when instead she came to us with samples and idea's and knew what tradespeople to use when needed. We loved the furniture she bought and the colour scheme really brightened it up massively along with use of glass and mirrors. I would highly recommend Sarah and her team for any of your interior projects.

We had Sarah come in to help us with our family kitchen in my mothers house. The kitchen was very dated and needed to be renovated on several aspects and it needed to be done on a low budget. Sarah came up with a great colour scheme on paints and materials which really lifted the kitchen and we are delighted with the outcome. She used a lovely french grey colour for the cabinets and suggested to take off the melamine covering that was on the units and re-spray, which worked really well. She also suggested a contrasting darker floor using a dry backed wood efffect tile and suggested new handles for the doors which surprisingly made a huge difference by modernising them. Its the little details. Overall the outcome has transformed the whole kitchen from dated and drab to bright and airy. My mother loves it as do we! Sarah is very pleasant and easy to deal with and very professional and accomodating - happy to do whatever is needed. I would highly recommend sarah for any projects you might be considering.

I asked Sarah if she could help me get some dining chairs upholstered, which have sentimental value to us. I wanted to get a good match to the colour scheme in my room. She found the chosen fabric at a very affordable price in a very short space of time and recommended an award winning upholstery company where the chairs were upholstered. The result was fantastic and a significant difference was achieved at an affordable price. They have given a real lift to the bedroom and blend in so well with the overall colour scheme. Sarah also suggested a new design for our bedroom to complement and use existing furniture and colours, so that I could enhance the bedroom. She presented a beautiful scheme which included a new mahogony dressing table, side tables, lamps, curtains and bedspreads. I can now enhance the room when the time suits me bit by bit and know that I am following a beautiful interior scheme. Sarah is an excellent interior designer, she is very friendly, approachable and motivated. I was 100% satisfied with her designs and work and I would thoroughly recommend her for your interior project.
