Better yet, her before and after pictures of her previous projects speaks for itself of the talent and hidden gem she can reveal in your own home too! “We hired Style my Room to complete a design for our kitchen/dining and living rooms. We had a lot of space however our rooms were badly laid out and didn't fit the needs of our family. We met with Jackie Carton and she got a feel for what we wanted to achieve within the space available and she came back with 2 great options. She did a reconfiguration of 2 rooms which was much more appropriate to our needs and a kitchen refit. We also got her to suggest an interior design for us and we were extremely happy with this. She listened to what we wanted and was very respectful of our budget. She came back with mood boards with designs for each room on them and after we took them in and made some small changes (although I would totally trust her design judgement) we were very happy with the outcome. I must say the overall results have been fantastic and we are very happy with the overall finished product. The new room configuration has really maximised the space we have and is so much more appropriate to our needs. and our growing family. The design is modern and fresh but it is very much in keeping with what we wanted. We are thrilled with the results and would highly recommend Jackie (and the builders Timber Creations she recommends and works with) and her work. Thanks Jackie!”

She devised a clever and functional design that made full use of the space available and radically improved the flow of the room, whilst still meeting our storage needs. “At the stage we engaged Rosemarie our new kitchen design had already been determined but Rosemarie was able to come in, even at that stage, and give really great advice on ways to get the most out of the space we have which have really made a huge difference to our family’s enjoyment of the room. She also provided excellent guidance and support on sourcing tiling, bathroom fittings and lighting which adds that bit of extra style to our new home. ””

“I asked Sarah if she could help me get some dining chairs upholstered, which have sentimental value to us. I wanted to get a good match to the colour scheme in my room. She found the chosen fabric at a very affordable price in a very short space of time and recommended an award winning upholstery company where the chairs were upholstered. The result was fantastic and a significant difference was achieved at an affordable price. They have given a real lift to the bedroom and blend in so well with the overall colour scheme. Sarah also suggested a new design for our bedroom to complement and use existing furniture and colours, so that I could enhance the bedroom. She presented a beautiful scheme which included a new mahogony dressing table, side tables, lamps, curtains and bedspreads. I can now enhance the room when the time suits me bit by bit and know that I am following a beautiful interior scheme. Sarah is an excellent interior designer, she is very friendly, approachable and motivated. I was 100% satisfied with her designs and work and I would thoroughly recommend her for your interior project.”

“We enlisted the services of Jane Higgins Home Design for our house. The layout downstairs was very tight, no storage, no flow, no matter where you stood you were in the way, we decided to increase the lower level of the house by adding on an extension. It was important to us that the space ‘worked’ in the best possible way and so we engaged Jane to re-design the layout of the ground floor fully, incorporating a new kitchen, cloakroom and open plan sitting room. Jane’s plan and use of the space was incredible. She took every aspect of our needs into account and tweeked her plan throughout. We are blown away with how our house turned out, we now have so much storage and the most amazing open plan kitchen / sitting room. Her vast experience in Kitchen Design is evident from the minute you walk in, clever storage units, ‘gadget’s that actually work and enhance your every day living. Jane was onsite throughout the build and the installation of the kitchen and her attention to detail on the finished look is so apparent, she treated it like it was her own home being done. We are so thrilled with her work and would highly recommend her.”

Emily helped us choose things for the house that both spoke to our personalities, but also flowed beautifully together. She also added her own recommendations that were absolutely brilliant! I'm so happy with how they turned out, but not only that, Daiva managed everything from start to finish, I didn't have to worry about anything, she did an incredible job. I'll be doing the upstairs soon, and using Daiva again, I couldn't even imagine using anyone else.”
