I cannot recommend Hackett Construction highly enough. I was a first time buyer when I took on a 1900 terrace house to renovate. Hackett Construction took me, and the project, on and guided me through every step of the way. Bernard and his whole team were exceptional. They took me through every step of this full scale renovation giving expert advice about every aspect of the job. They talked me through every stage and were always on hand when I needed to ask a question. The standard of work on the renovation was excellent, with all finishes executed to the highest standard. This was a big project, taking the house back to three walls and Hackett Construction was with me to completion, giving me a beautiful home in turn key condition. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with this highly professional, experienced and knowledgeable team, whose expertise is matched only by their friendly, warm and approachable manner. 5+ stars!!!

If you are looking for a reliable, skilful and hardworking team that will take on challenging projects, Hackett Construction should be top of your list. When you are trying to do a home project, big or small (and sometimes its harder to find a team to take on the smaller jobs), you want a partner that : 1. does what he says he will do, when he says he will do it, 2. does it to an impeccably high standard which he imposes on himself (without you having to say a thing), and 3. is fair, transparent and full value on all charges. Bernard and the guys at Hackett Construction are all of these things. They have done 4 different projects for me, garage & entrance gates, pergola, completely refitting a master bathroom plumbing layout and most recently a bulkhead ceiling detail in a Den renovation. All jobs had tricky elements - curved walls, vaulted structures, challenging carpentry. The guys have a huge skill set within their team and so much experience. All projects turned out exactly as I wanted, fantastic to work with, highly highly recommend them.

Hackett Construction built our extension recently and I would highly recommend them for anyone considering similar projects or new builds . They are highly professional and experienced and their attention to detail is exceptional . They gave us invaluable advice along the way and were always willing to adapt and change if we had ideas or went away from the plans. We found them very approachable and accommodating to our needs and any anticipated problems or challenges were dealt with promptly and with no fuss. The finished product is of a very high standard and their skills and craftsmanship is obvious when viewed . They completed each task with precision and detail and ensured we were informed and approved of everything. We are very grateful to them and are extremely pleased with the end product.
