The reputation of father and son team Willie and Wayne Busteed precedes them. We know several people who have had their attics converted by them so when it was time for us to convert our own attic we knew straightaway who we wanted to carry out the work. We were aware that there would be a waiting list (as there usually is with good tradesmen) but we also knew that Busteeds would be worth the wait. And indeed they were….To say that Willie and Wayne are hard workers would be an understatement. They gave us a start date and from that date they arrived every morning and didn’t let up until the job was finished on schedule. They are conscious that they are in someone’s home and every evening a tidy-up with hoovering and mopping was carried out. Existing flooring in the home was covered to protect it while the work was being carried out. The converted attic was finished to the highest standard using the best materials available and in compliance with building and fire safety regs. As the project neared an end an engineer arrived to sign off on all the work. Willie and Wayne are very obliging and often went the extra mile doing several things for us that they did not have to do. They are approachable and open to answering any questions we had throughout the course of the project. They gave us advice and guidance along the way too when any decisions had to be made, giving us the benefit of their experience. The results have exceeded all our expectations. Their workmanship and attention to detail was amazing, the materials they used were of the highest quality , everything was completed within the time frame that was given to us. Willie Busteed & son converted our attic November 2016. Highly recommended this company.Willie came down priced the job very professional from start to finish. They come in every morning cover up every thing and clean up every evening. You wouldn’t even know they be in your house, once you decided your going to to go with them you pay your deposit and you get your date and they start on the date they give you. You don’t have to worry about any thing they do every thing. Would recommend them fantastic job very good work and a great finish. Steel beams put in . great storage.

Where to start with a recommendation for these guys is tough. As a civil engineer I would be very fussy about who I would let into our house to do work and I cannot speak highly enough of Willie, Wayne & Aidan. Not only are they professional, competent, knowledgeable, approachable & hard working they were a joy to have around our house. Our attic conversion, circa 230sq.ft, was completed in 14 working days using the best materials to the highest standards possible. The house was left clean and tidy everyday. We used Willie to upgrade our attic to an office/movie room. We are completely satisfied with the outcome. They did an excellent job, were always punctual, and left the house spotless each day after they completed their work. We had a small baby in the house during the build and the lads made every effort not to disturb her. We asked them for some specific work to be done regarding power outlets and soundproofing which they completed to an exceptionally high standard. We are overjoyed with the results. We can now watch movies on our sound system at a high volume without disturbing anybody else in the house or our neighbours. They were reasonably priced for the quality of the work carried out and the materials used. They used only the highest quality materials to create the highest quality conversion which will be crucial if we decide to sell in the future. They were very communicative. I was away on business for much of the build but I was kept informed of their progress throughout. An anecdote that may impress on you the quality of their work and character. Some of the taps in my home were not flowing very freely. Willies plumber noticed this as he was washing his hands and went ahead and fixed the taps in the house free of charge. I did not ask him to do this and in fact he didn’t even mention it to me afterwards. I only noticed it myself as he was leaving for the day. The build has been completed for a number of months now and having used to room on a daily basis since then my appreciation for the quality of work has only increased.
