“We used Basement Edge (Marty Shelburne and Todd Tretev) for our basement remodel. They were great. We knew that if we put the bathroom where it was plumbed it would be a mistake from a design standpoint and they were the only contractor who said -- yes, you're right and went the extra step to help us put it in the best possible location. We worked with their designer who had great suggestions for wall color, carpet and placement of cabinets, lighting, etc. I'd use them again without question. We did take 3 bids when we started our project and they were not the least expensive but certainly competitive and their advise was invaluable.”

“Craig is a custom builder with a creative, problem solving mindset. I met Craig after I had purchased one of his homes in Castle Pines Village from its original owner. There were many homes available to choose from at the time, but this home stood out clearly above the rest because of it’s quality and craftsmanship throughout the unique custom design. Craig was able to create an enclave complete with wet bar, full bathroom, a conference room and office area with two private decks and a garage for my bikes. He was able to surgically remove the roof above the existing 4-car garage and build the new addition into the home so that after completion it looked like it was always part of the original house. It was very important for me to work with the builder who created the extraordinary home I chose, but I was even more impressed when I had the opportunity to work with Craig on my addition. He has an excellent reputation among his homeowners and it was easy to understand why. He was highly recommended to me from one of my fellow executives with Harley who also bought one of Craig’s custom homes in the Village. “We're a retired Military couple so we've been around a while. After getting several quotes from other local companies, Drew (Owner, Southern Heritage) was the one guy that took time (from the start, while we were still checking into quotes) to sit with us and talk to us about the details that were important to us. The others were very 'corporate' and seemed like it was just another job to them. Got a good feeling right off that Drew was going to be involved in making sure our deck was what we wanted. Working with him and his team was just like we expected, they made sure, as things went along, that it was what we wanted. In our years living all over the world and working with all kinds of different projects and companies, I would strongly recommend Southern Heritage as your best choice for a construction project. Our new deck is more solidly built than the original and definately more classy looking ... we built this house so we know how the original deck was constructed.
