“Katie of Window Spaces, was highly professional in helping us to find right materials for blinds in our house. She has painstakingly made multiple visits to our house to fully understand our taste and needs. She found appropriate designs and colors to match with the decor of house. The installer did a great job of putting the blinds to all over the house. After installation, Katie visited again to make sure that we are happy with the job and products. She made sure that what we got is what we wanted. Later, we had a minor issue with blinds, she came to address it. During the process she maintained good communication. She made sure that all issues were taken care of ASAP. We are glad to have Window Spaces as partner in our home decor.”

“I worked with Suzy on two projects in my home and was so impressed with her! She did a beautiful job on the drapes and pillows in my family room. She helped find the perfect fabrics and she completed everything on time and with great attention to detail. Because she did such a great job on that project I hired her again to do several window treatments in my daughter's room. When choosing curtains, consider their function, whether for privacy, light blocking, or decor enhancement. Take into account the room’s style, choosing curtains that complement the overall decor in terms of colour, pattern, and fabric texture. Measure the window accurately to ensure the curtains are the right size and length, considering whether you prefer floor-length or sill-length curtains. Select curtain fabrics based on light-blocking abilities, durability, and ease of cleaning.
In general, your curtains width should be double the width of your windows. For length, this depends on if you want floor length, sill length curtains or below sill. For sill length curtains, they should sit 1cm above the windowsill. Below length curtains generally sit around 15cm under the sill. For floor length curtains, ensure there is at least a 1cm gap between them and the floor. If your window has a radiator underneath it, the curtains should stop around 2-3cm above the radiator to avoid heat being absorbed by the curtain.
Simply measure from where you want your blinds to start (the rail), to where you want your blinds to finish. Add 10-15 cms to this to prevent light bleed. To ensure your blinds fit correctly, take measurements at 3 equal points across your window and use the longest size.
