“Happy Kitchens were hired to re vamp my very tired kitchen turning it into a place of joy and happiness!! They replaced some doors, completely changing the surrounds to reflect the new colour and finish, you really cannot tell that they are my old cupboards they are sparkling. Happy Kitchens also added some new cupboards which are beautiful and practical. They integrated a dishwasher and covered my ugly boiler with a lovely cupboard to match the kitchen, this was a transformation. The fitter also worked tirelessly to ensure the finish was absolutely perfect he really went over and above and cannot recommend these guys enough. Ben is lovely to deal with also, so no horrible salesman will call - Just Ben :) I spend more of my time in my kitchen now and saved around £13k vs a quote from a leading DIY store :)”

“Louis and Sam built us a large double-glazed window in high-spec wood (no shrinking, very robust etc). Excellent quality and design, lets in more light, much admired. They stand out as they put such thought and detail into the piece of work so we knew we were in safe hands. Will use them again without any hesitation, next for bi-fold doors. They are very knowledgeable and really care about the result they produce. Craftsmen like this are not easy to find. Produced our window at short notice, arrived on time, worked late until it was finished.”

“The Wright Joinery constructed a beautiful range of joinery items for my home including a walk-in-wardrobe with integrated lighting, living room shelving, an office storage shelving system, a vanity unit with a reclaimed worktop and headboards with fitted lights. The pieces were all really well made but without breaking the bank! As a company they were a pleasure to interact with, coordinating seamlessly with Woodmans Construction so we had no delays during the house renovation. All the units were spray-painted in their workshop and the quality of the paint finish was excellent. Also the installers were really experienced and took their time carefully fitting them. I'm very happy with the results and would certainly recommend them as a company as well as not hesitate to use them again in the future.”

“Ashcrest Joinery did a lot of work for us during 2021, including: new internal doors designed in 1930's style to suit the house; sliding barn door style for the kitchen; external garage doors; new office furniture including desk and sideboard. The many positives include: 1. It is wonderful to have bespoke hand made furniture in solid wood from a local carpenter; 2. The quality of the work is outstanding and has made a huge positive difference to our house; 3. Although expensive compared to off-the shelf products, Ashcrest Joinery was significantly cheaper and more flexible than quotes we got from much bigger companies; 4. Rob Coe and his team are really nice people - it was a pleasure to do business with this company. There were also a few negatives: 2021 was a difficult year with Covid delays of all sorts; Ashcrest was a small business going through growing pains, and Rob had a tendency to take on more than he could manage, so delivery dates suffered - it all took a lot longer than originally planned, and I had to draw on my reserves of patience. But I am totally delighted with the results, which I enjoy every day homeworking, sitting at and enjoying my beautiful desk designed just for me; and my wife Anja enjoys the beautiful doors every day.
