I am an Oakland-based muralist, largely working on public murals in acrylic paint and mosaic tile. I have recently expanded my business to include private residences and offices. I have a special fondness for transforming ugly spaces, cement and stucco walls, and anyplace which might be either prone to graffiti or simply unremarkable. I would be happy to re-imagine your retaining walls, garages, open sides of buildings.

I have been crafting original lighting since making a first lamp of "found parts" in 1994..... back when the flea market pickins' were good and cheap. I have also restored and revived many a treasured lamp, chandelier or sconce as well for my clients and customers. In my style, I hope you will notice attention to detail, some whimsy, and an appreciation for vintage lighting, art & artifacts, and industrial design. Specializes in one of a kind custom fixtures. I build and often design these projects in collaboration with a creative group of Bay Area professionals specializing in interior design, architecture, glass & metal fabrication, and finishing, Many of the designs are "one-off" commissions that were constructed around a unique found part or object or inspired by a photograph. (Because I get a substantial number of requests, I should clarify that, at this time, I do not specialize in recessed lighting or lighting systems.)

Marin Mosaics is a boutique mosaic studio specializing in custom mosaics for walls, floors, kitchen backsplashes, and stair risers. We hand craft our mosaics in Novato, California (SF Bay Area) and can pack and ship to the US and Canada. Carol Lancour crafts her custom mosaics from hand cut pieces of vitreous, stained, or fused glass using the same methods that have been employed by mosaic artists since antiquity. Carol works exclusively with glass because the refraction and reflection of light lend the mosaic a liveliness that other materials lack. She particularly enjoys doing large-scale installations, such as walls and floors, because the art becomes part of the structure of the building. Carol holds a BA in Fine Art and an MA in Art History from Michigan State University (Go Spartans!).

Lost Art Salon’s proprietors Rob Delamater and Gaetan Caron blend their distinct personalities to create the gallery’s curious and unmistakable air of an “art apothecary”. Intimately acquainted with each work of art in the gallery, Delamater and Caron have from the outset anchored the gallery’s mission to finding new audiences for artists who have been overlooked by the confines of art history. Through dedicated searches worldwide Lost Art Salon continues to rediscover new artists and collections, including: • Philadelphia artist John Whitworth Robson who defied his family's wishes and took off in 1905 for the art capital of the world, Paris, and later on returned to Hollywood to become one of the key scene painters of "The Wizard of Oz". • Alysanne McGaffey who landed at the San Francisco Art Institute in 1957, was just in time to become an integral part of the Bay Area Figurative Movement. • Dave Fox who fled Austria in 1939, would come to join a newly emerging art scene in Los Angeles. • Polish-born Jennings Tofel who arrived in New York City at the turn of the Century and would soon be mentored by Alfred Stieglitz. • Peter Witwer who created grand, stunning artworks in his Haight Ashbury apartment but would not be discovered until nearly forty years after his murder. Lost Art Salon serves our clients as an established resource for modernist, vintage, antique & contemporary art, embodying the atmospheres of an atelier, a fine art museum and a rare book library. We acquire our individual works and collections through artists’ estates, surviving family and friends, auctions, art dealers and myriad North American and European antique markets and fairs. Upon arrival at our gallery, our arts management team takes each piece through a diligent conservation and archival process detailing acquisition history and provenance. Prior to presentation in our gallery and online, our arts management team works from our selection of restored original period frames to classic contemporary frames to create the best stage for every piece. At Lost Art Salon, we are as inspired by the hunt and the rediscovery of historically significant artists and fine art collections, as we are with sharing these experiences and artworks with our clients. Abstract Geometrics and Expressionism | Artist | Commission Painting http://www.victoriakloch.com www.vklochwedgleygallery.com Kurt and I are very excited to offer to you our new pieces of color field painting and geometric paintings on shaped canvas. Together we explore our love for fine art with both individual and calibrated pieces. _Victoria Raised in the Bay Area in the 50’s - 60’s, mid-century art naturally brings a comfortable fit for me. I find the simple complexities from this era still holds sophistication decades later. I live a quite life in California where I’m able to pursue my painting full-time. My work has been received by collectors throughout the USA and abroad. Though I have painted many paintings in the form of realism my passion is abstract expressionism. Driven to achieve that perfect piece working with thin layers of application to create glowing under layers. Throughout my work, you will find both watercolors, acrylics and oils. I love commission painting, let's put our heads together and create something wonderful just for you.
