“Lucy is an extraordinary artist. She has the ability to capture the essence of the details and render them in a softness not seen in the work of other artists. Plus she is delightful to work with. She produces a sketch for approval and keeps within the budget. You will not be disappointed.”

“It has been a privilege to work with TFB on many different spaces at my current project, a 10,000 sq. ft home . Started as a simple Enhancement to some custom cabinetry, and the Owners of the house love the work, so they have come up with additional projects to further customize this already incredible residence. From Antique Glazing and painting interior plaster walls, to distress finishes, to architectural enhancement of vaulted ceilings. Artistically fresh with a depth that is difficult, or cannot be put into words. It would be hard to imagine The Home without what Carole has done, it has had such an impact.”

“In the summer of 2006, Anita painted an amazing mural at our house. You can see photos on Anita's website at http://theboldbrush.com/murals5.html. First of all, the artistic "vision" was incredible - Anita came to visit our house, we talked about possible locations for the mural, and subject matter. She brought many books and photos with ideas, talked to us about our lifestyle, careers, interests, and hobbies, and toured our house and yard. She then came up with the brilliant suggestion of an "interior" window that showed our backyard, and showcased aspects of our garden (which is a major source of enjoyment for us) - a basket of veggies, our cat walking on the fence, our tools propped against the fence. Look closely and you can see very personal touches: a tea towel from our kitchen, my husband's gardening gloves, his glass of iced tea. The larger stone wall is an exact duplication of an actual stone wall on the opposite side of the room (fireplace) - where she LITERALLY created stone patterns by tracing the existing stones. The attention to detail is breathtaking. If there actually WAS a window there (and in the additional walls behind it), you really WOULD see our garden, so this is a very clever concept. She worked on scaffolding in our living room for several weeks - it made me think of Michaelangelo (no kidding!) - and during that time managed to seem practically invisible (and I work at home, she did not disturb me at all). I've had workers in the house before who left a mess, but Anita cleaned up every day, took great care to protect the piano and furniture and so on. She also helped me figure out the accent pieces sitting on the shelf, stereo speakers and so on. That completed the look! Almost 8 years later, we still enjoy the surprise of first-time visitors when they walk into the room. Our mural is a wonderful conversation piece, a dramatic personalization of our house, and something we admire every day. Thanks, Anita!”

“Myra Burg's beautiful oboes have been the last things our eyes have seen before we drift off to sleep for the past 7 years. They hang, or float as it sometimes seems, on the wall above our bed. Their colors, vibrant yet peaceful have never faded. I love the unique forms and colors that Myra created with her installation. I have never seen anything like them. Guests lucky to see them are captivated by their beauty as well. My children and I often gaze up at them and one will ask which is my favorite oboe (we have 6 in the installation). My favorite oboe is always the 3rd one up with the gold and turquoise colors melting into one another, or maybe the big one, 2nd from the top, with it's orange and magenta tones that glow like a sunset. My favorite oboe changes as my mood, the light and shadows do. But one thing remains constant, these oboes are a pleasure to own and I love them!”

“Janice helped me design the perfect Roman shades for the dining room of our Prairie-style home, built in 1914. She sent me fabric and thread samples, was meticulous about confirming the measurements, and met a tight deadline. The shades enhance our beautiful windows and woodwork, and everyone who sees them asks how we managed to find shades that look like they were made just for our house. Well, they were!”

“Nathalie has helped us tremendeously with both our two business locations and our home. Her impeccable taste and sense of stylistic direction was invaluable in complimenting the artistic brand of our company. We were so impressed with her work for our businesses that we hired her to help us redesign the interior of our home, where she worked on our living room, dining room and master bedroom. Nathalie went above and beyond our expectations and was always available when we needed her advice. Throughout the entire process we felt that we finally met someone who not only listened to what we wanted but also helped us create an image with custom blends of paint colors that we never could have imagined on our own. To sum it up, we couldn't be happier with her energetic and inspiring approach, not to mention her very reasonable rates!”

“Lauren was great! We'd been putting off painting our nursery for over a year because of busy schedules but then L Star Murals came in and did the whole thing, start to finish, in one day! Plus she left the place spotless. We had pretty specific ideas about what we wanted and she nailed it. It finally feels like a kids room, and an awesome one at that. My only regret is that we didn't call them earlier.”
