About Us

Marchitecture is a progressive young practice with an emphasis on good design and specialising in contemporary architecture as well as conservation of historic buildings and protected structures. We are a small company with big design ideas! We have a wide range of experience of various projects from small residential extensions and one off houses to 17 storey commercial offices and 35 storey residential apartment buildings. Mark Monaghan studied Architectural Technology at Waterford Institute of Technology, graduating with a Diploma in Architectural Technology, and at Dublin Institute of Technology where he graduated with an Honours Bachelors Degree in Architecture. Mark has over 16 years of experience working in the Irish Architecture and Construction Industry. He has previously worked on various high profile projects such as Cork County Hall, the Ard Na Sidhe Hotel, the Heuston Gate Development and most recently the Slane Castle Irish Whiskey Distillery. Mark Monaghan is a registered architect with the RIAI and has Conservation Grade III Accreditation.
